Upgraded from the Rx-v377 for the 4k/60p pass-through. When I hooked up my Xbox One S and saw on the v377 didn't support the 60hz pass-through, I knew I had to upgrade. This one was a little bit more powerful but still had all the features plus the added Bluetooth connectivity. Definitely happy with the upgrade.

Over all we are very satisfied with this product. Only minus is that we haven't figured out the way we can get its bluetooth feature work yet. The manual that comes with the product has the least information in there and is not so helpful. But hopefully we can find the information online and get it work no problem. Over all, it is working really well and we love it.

It has allowed me to use my older Bose 5 speaker system with a newer 4K TV. The cost of the receiver is much better than buying a new stereo system. So I definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to upgrade their TV without having to buy everything new if you still have a great older surround system.

I am using this receiver for a home theatre and I couldn't be happier. It was super easy to set up. The controls are fantastic and very user friendly. It has a handy "scene" feature that allows you to set up all the settings for certain uses such as one for TV, one for bluray, one for PC etc. It is great.

I had a 3 year old Yamaha which was perfectly fine, but I upgraded to an LG 3D 4K TV and decided that I needed the upgrade pass through on the receiver. The Yamaha had everything I needed and was a better price than other brands. I have better sound separation than before and perfect picture quality.

bought this "open box" for $175, for that price, can't beat it, 4 HDMI inputs that support audio (which is the main reason I bought it) has a mic for automated setup. my biggest issue is that it doesn't show what the original source is encoded as, Dolby digital / dts / stereo, it would be nice to see what the receiver thinks it's receiving.

For the price, this receiver does the job. Works perfectly!
