They want you to spend another $150 to $250 to get to the next model in their lineup, to get a feature that USED to be available on EVERY receiver in the world.

Fantastic Buy

Automatically recognizes your equipment as you input and is wireless for music services. I would most certainly recommend this unit.

Excellent Receiver for the Money

The only negative that I can say is about the lack of true equalizer adjustments, just pre-programmed settings to choose from, or maybe it's there but I just haven't found it yet.

However, it is an extremely complex one, with tons of options.Somewhat difficult for one who is not well advanced in such systems. Nonetheless, the owners manual is very well written in my opinion and really tried to explain the product.

Lots of capabilities

Fan of Yamaha Receivers

I have no need for the extra multimedia connections. The reason I bought it was for the 4K pass thru. I works great and I am very happy. This is my 4th Yamaha reciever.
