I'm using this to drive overhead speakers in a conference room and the connections are so easy to make and maintain. The output is being delivered without any distortion.

I have had YAMAHA receivers for over 35 years and have never had any problems. The last receiver was 15 years old and work great, but did not have 3-D for our new T.V.

Found receiver in the open box section, had already checked it out on C-net.couldn't pass on the price, find new features every time I play around with it.

Easy to hook up and use with MusicCast App. Only issue was that I had to turn off my cellular service to get App to setup properly, and that had me stumped for over an hour.

The receiver in general was a good value but the feature where it senses what component to use, doesn't work well. When connecting to Direct TV, it will automatically connect the audio and then will switch to another HDMI input for no reason about 5-10 seconds later. The Geek Squad tried a receiver in store with the exact same Samsung TV and it did for them too. One possible go-around was to run the optical cord from the television to the receiver. I haven't got the optical cord but will try that.

We have had no problems with this receiver at yet. It seems to pick up well and work with no issues between our projector and dvd player and internet connection.

The receiver is nice if you can learn how to use it. The instructions are poor to fair. I called Yamaha support line several times but nobody picks up. Best Buy wanted to charge me for an in home service call to show me how to operate it. Poor after purchase customer service on the part of Yamaha and Best Buy. I can not rate it above fair over a number of user operating concerns.

Looked at several receivers b4 choosing this one. Replaced a 15yr Yamaha receiver with this new one because I have had a great experience with this brand.

Designed a new budget home theater and this receiver fit the bill perfectly. Love this thing, no regrets.

WiFi not dual band but you do also have internet hookup- with unit, excellent pricing!!
