Love the additional HDMI ports. Also, that two of those ports are 4K compatible. Plays with the ROKU beautifully

Last piece of the 4k home setup. Replaced an older version since it didn't have 2.2. Smooth setup and sounds great!

Im impressed with this amplifier. It seems to have everything such as WiFi, streaming services, lots of HDMI ports. I think the only problem I have with this receiver is that I can't effectively access the menu. In my case, my amplifier and TV are somewhat far from each other. I use the optical out on the TV to send sound to the receiver. I think there are other features that this receiver has, but in order to fiddle with them, I need to somehow connect the receiver to the TV. Otherwise, the sound and out-of-the-box settings seems to serve my purpose.

I'm very impressed with this unit so far. Loaded with features and easy to use. Great clarity and good power.

Our old receiver died and with my son's help (he's a cable tech), decided on this one. It's working fine and has really brought our HD up to date!

It was easy to setup and use the receiver and has great sound. Easy to control with Logitech harmony remote.

Receiver works really great with our new Samsung JS8500 SUHD TV. The only thing that would have been nice was an audio out so that I could hook it to my four zone amplifier for the outside speakers. This unit has HDCP 2.2 and 4 HDMI ports

Great receiver - I needed HDMI from the old one and this has like 6 inputs. 4K ready - great buy imo.

Great Sound and easy to configure. Airplay, Bluetooth, ARC - all are working as expected.

It interacts with all of our systems which is really nice but it turns the tv off when you turn it on because it has to change the input on the tv, a bit annoying.

This is a decent receiver. The interface to control it from a tablet or smartphone is nice. Sound is decent for the price.

The unit has many inputs, easy to install and HDMI pass through works exactly how I wanted.

I was looking for a new receiver to replace the 25 year old one I had and this one had everything I was looking for. It recognizes most of the components that you plug into it, like an Xbox and the ones it doesn't you can rename. It has all of the inputs you need and then some. the only con is that the volume is lower when you switch to video compared to the tuner, but that could be something based on my audio conections. I am using (ARC HDMI) instead of an optical audio cable.

I bought this for a friend, he set up his projector, console and this home theater....Now I wanna get my own for my man cave!

We bought this amplifier to replace a very old one. The sound on this one is great and we love all the new inputs.

Normally I think of a receiver as one of those items you have to own to make your theater system work, but it does nothing special on its own. But this Yamaha bust through my narrow view of receivers. I can blast music from my iPhone, iPad and Mac on the Airplay setting through the 5 speaker set up in my theater. I can use the Spotify setting to do the same directly from Spotify from my devices. I don't need to be a tech genius--I just hit the input button on the remote to switch back to cable, and find the little box on my devices to change "playing from Room 1" to "this computer." The Comcast guy showed me I had it and actually set it up for me in 10 minutes. Geek Squad did the harder ones that were farther away from the TV. It's a great receiver and really good value, especially if you love your own music and like to play it over your theater system.
