Excellent Sub-woofer for under 90 bucks!

I have a sony 500 watt receiver with five speakers and I also had the sony 75 watt sub woofer, which was great when i first got it ten years ago but now it lost its punch! So i decided to go to bestbuy to pick up another sub woofer within my budget and I cam across this Yamaha 100 watt sub woofer which look great and sounds very powerful! You can hear all the highs and lows of the bass instruments. I also like it that when is see a movie that i rented , this sub woofer gives the live like sound of the sound effects of the movie, such as a gun shot, airplane taking off, and the rubble of aliens invading planet earth! lol jk.

It is great for casual listening, and can be cranked for party situations. I absolutely love it and think it is a great listening investment.

Not 100w

The amp is 45 watts and it sounds like 45 watts if that's ok with you then buy it. There is nothing 100 watts about this sub. I bought this to replace an actual 100watt Yamaha sub. And it's about 45% the output, weird. That said for 45 watts it's not bad, so one star for lying about what it is, and one star for making it good for what it is.
