This works great and does the job I need it to do!

This is a great item though it doesn't have 4K pass though.

The sound quality was exactly what I was looking for. It has the attributes I wanted. I would have given it at least 4 stars. However, about 60 days after I began using the receiver, the unit began making popping sounds as I changed selections, such as switching from cable to DVD player. Next, the audio began having problems. I had to turn the unit on and off several times before it would send audio to the speakers. The video has never had a problem. By day 75 the audio just won't come on. It doesn't matter what I try. I'll update the review after I discuss this with Yahama.

I bought the stereo system and after several hour, had still not been able to setup the system to attach my tv, dvd player, and apple box...Of course, I'm in my 50's and technologically behind the times.

Bought the receiver and loved the sound but there was an issue with functionality. The USB port on the front did not detect my Ipod Classic, Iphone 6S or Itouch. The port had power but that's it. That killed the deal for me so I returned it to Best Buy.

This item is expensive and has a major bug. Whenever you fast forward or rewind anything for more than a second it malfunctions the sound into very loud screeching static. Only way to fix it to shut it off and turn it back on.

Setting this up was a bit confusing, tried to connect to tv, cd player and Bluetooth Sirius xm. Had to call for help twice, and a technician we had to hire for our additional speakers had to call.

Very nice looking and easy to use. A bit heavy on the bass. I'm still tweaking the speakers to sound as good as my previous non 4K Sony. Now this is no longer available but I do recommend Yamaha

It's really easy to use for the common ibiot if I can't work it no one can il duty it again if it got stolen the price could be lower for being the bottom of the line

This was recommended but was bad right out the box. Things happen so im not saying this receiver is bad, i just got a bad one and upgraded to a denon.

Bought this item less than 2 yrs ago and it stopped working out of the clear blue. Red light for power button will not reset no matter what I try. I was told Yamahas are a great product and they last a long time. Very disappointed and I can't find a repair shop.

I found the interface to connect an iPhone is cumbersome

Great product overall but not a true 2 zone product.

The receiver had to have been defective. If it wasn't I would've given it a worse review. None of the inputs worked except for Bluetooth and that was even shotty. Sound was ok but after the problems I had with this I decided to go back to my old reliable denon

Had to have repaired twice, once under warranty and once out of warranty after 3 years. grr

This receiver is not good, the HDMI connection does not work with the TV. When I change channels I got a message "No Signal HDMI". Do not buy. I am returning this item to Best Buy.

Worst surround system I’ve ever bought. It shuts off for no apparent reason all of the time.

I was never able to completely install. I had to return to store which gladly refunded my money.

This is my first venture into home theater, and this unit is meeting my high expectations. Previously, I had a stereo TV running thru the Yamaha A1000 integrated 2-channel amp I purchased in 1983. The A1000 is an amazing unit, but has developed some static in it's output (after 30+ years) and so I found myself in the market for an AV receiver. Given the ratio of performance to price, I opted for the A660, and I am thoroughly enjoying it! The sound is clean and clear, and while it doesn't quite rise to the level of my A1000, only true audiophiles will hear the small difference. I love the wifi feature allowing streaming from other devices on my network. Here's to another 30+ years of quality! Still a fan, Yamaha!!
