    Traded in marantz sr 6014 and couldn’t be happier. No comparison the Yamaha Rx a2080 out powers and sounds nicer.

    A little more then I wanted to spend but worth it Hookup was easy had to tweak speakers for the right sound has plenty of power sounds great

    This unit is a great unit, however it was too large for my entertainment cabinet. I ended up returning it and purchased a Denon.

    Month in, but great so far. Replaced an old Yamaha Aventage whose sound processor started going out. Remote is improved, as is the on screen menu. Set up c/w prior Yamaha's i've owned. Would recommend whole heartedly.

    After several years of giving movie night some extra punch my Pioneer Elite receiver gave out. So, I Began comparison shopping and decided to give Yamaha a chance. It has good power output , a lot of features my old receiver lacked (Atmos, Bluetooth, 4K), they have very good reviews, and the price was acceptable to my wife.

    I could not have made a better purchase. I upgraded from the RX-8780 ONLY because I needed to add additional speakers. This receiver brings the best room filling home cinema experience I could have ever imagined!!!

    Bought this through geek squad to have two separate audio and independent video zones. Works good so far. Alternative would have bee to install 2 separate receivers.
