These speakers made a great addition to our covered porch. I have some Polk speakers around our pool that were in the similar price range and I must say the Yamaha's have a much richer sound.

Gift for friend with older but excellent quality amp and five disc CD changer. She is thrilled and plays her music every waking hour. Outstanding sound and she likes me better now.

There speakers sound good for the money. Can be used with virtually any receiver amplifier and sound just fine. However, if you connect them to a dedicated amp, be careful not to amp them up too much or they will blow. Just match your watt's and you will be good!

installed these in the man room, powered by a high current onkyo for satisfying shower room area. for their size, sound great. Bought a 2nd pair for the garage stereo.

Don't expect thumping bass, but they are very good speakers for the money! Buying another set right now.

Just purchased a pair of these for the upper deck on our houseboat. They sound much larger and more expensive than any other compact indoor/outdoor speakers we listened to. I would recommend them if this is the price range you are looking for. Great not perfect - 4 Stars

These Yamaha outdoor speaker's go great with our Onkyo Hd receiver we put them in our outdoor patio and pool area couldn't be happier thank you so much.

Decent outdoor speakers for the price! They look great in white under the eves of the house. The only reason I rated at 4 stars is they lack bass punch that some users may need. If so, consider speakers that cost MUCH more!

I hung these on my patio and they sound great. When I turn it up I can do yard work and hear them in my entire backyard. The neighbors can probably hear them too!

Did not have the sound quality I was hoping for. Not horrible but for the money good. I needed to spend more to get more watts

Installed these in a horse barn that is nasty dirty all of the time. Sounds great and no problems with the harsh envrionment
