Purchased the pair of these speakers to place in the wall of our family room and was very pleased with the sound.

We bought these to replace our old speakers. The Best Buy technician came took $260 to install but they don’t work. The worst part is my mom didn’t know & the technician was trying to take one of the new speakers with him. He pretended it was the old one. The helper who came with him informed my mom.

Speakers are nice but hard to put the covers on without bending or denting them

Bought these to replace some existing speakers that were very old. These 6.5 speakers fit the existing cutouts so that was a snap. Connection to wiring was very easy as the speakers can take the audio wires and with a pushbutton type connector will open a slot to insert the speaker wire which will secure it solidly. I have 4 of these attached (fronts and rears) to my home theater and sound is very warm. Not a huge base response as I send all of that to the subs and with a 6.5" cone you shouldn't expect much. Listening to music through these (sans subs) sounds great. Nothing lacking and great value for the price.

I replaced a pair of JBL surrounds that were not flush mounted and wanted speakers that disappeared into the wall. Took no time at all to install a pair, less than 30 mins. Very easy clamping system for old construction installation. Make sure before you put a 8" x 13" hole in the drywall that your wall is deep enough! Great sound levels for both music and home theater set-up.

Ok for being the cheapest speakers but they didn't knock my socks off

Easy to install and they sound great! Use them for my surround speakers and they more than fit the bill of what I was looking for. Also, use them for music and they perform well there as well.

These speakers are simple to install and adjust. Great for small home theater set ups without having to break the bank. I use them both the front and rear in my setup and the sound is great. LIght on the lows, but nothing a good sub woofer cant fix.

Spend a little extra money for something that sounds good. I returned these speakers.

The Bass is a little low, I need to pump up the Subwoofer to make up the difference, but overall they are a huge step up from the single tweeter JVCs I was using. Not to mention the look great on the wall once they are painted.

Simple to install. From start to finish, the wife and I had two of these and two of the round pairs installed in an hour. Great sound.

These speakers are paired with the Yamaha in-ceiling speakers from the same line and a Sony 3-speaker Center Chanel unit. Power is provided by the Yamaha RX-V465 5.1 Receiver providing 100 watts (50 RMS) to each of the 5 channels. These 3-way in-wall speakers rock my vaulted 20'x20' kitchen and great room area. Excellent clarity, response, and realistic sound at all volume levels. Yamaha created a solid product and an excellent value at under $100 per speaker. You could pay more and improve power handling and high volume clarity, but I don't see the need. These speakers are excellent!

You can tell these speakers are very high quality by the quality of the connections and components inside the housing. They are fairly heavy and clearly very well made. Once installed, I realized that each speaker can be aimed slightly to focus sound at the seating area. This feature is usually found only in higher-end components. The sound quality is excellent. I would recommend this product.

sound is very nice and installed easily and quickly.

I installed these in my ceiling and built simple boxes around them in the attic for (slightly) better sound and to protect them from insulation. I don't think they're very efficient speakers but my receiver has the power to overcome that short-coming. Honestly, I read the good reviews here and I chose these because I only paid $65 shipped on Ebay for a brand new pair - at that price it was a can't miss. Considering getting rid of all my other speakers for a cleaner look.
