This unit definitely lives up to the reviews. Very positive! Yamaha doesn't make a bad amp; and for the money this is a great value. Now if it had a 12ax7 pre... THAT would have been optimal... Happy with the purchase!

I needed a new receiver to run my multi room system and this was a perfect replacement. Great sound and easy setup with plenty of power to run my system in 5 rooms and my deck speakers.

The Yamaha - 200W 2-Ch. Stereo Receiver - Black is perfect for my home. Easy to install. Working great so far. Plus, it looks fantastic with my other old school components. Also, it has the option for blue tooth.

I bought this for backyard use. Hooked up to two outdoor Yamaha speakers. I ran my outside tv sound through a/v cable optical adapter from Amazon. Sounds great for my yard. Recommended. Bluetooth works great also.

This receiver was not only at an affordable price, it just sounds amazing! I bought it to connect some bookshelf speakers to my turntable. My turntable has a preamp built in, so I only needed to plug in the RCA cables into the receiver. Then, I plugged in my JBL bookshelf speakers. Super easy to use, Bluetooth capabilities, and just all around good quality that you would expect to find with Yamaha!

This might be just what you are looking for... Plenty of power to drive the speakers you already have, great spec’s, and even has bluetooth to stream from your phone or ipad, etc. Priced right too! My application is a garage/workshop that I had an old Sony receiver driving a pair of tower speakers by Pioneer that have to be 30 years old... but the Sony came to a very untimely end when a shelf gave out at just the wrong time! The old speakers sound great.. this receiver has better reception on both AM and FM and the streaming is a great bonus!

Solid receiver, good sound. Bluetooth is nice and works reliably - I use it to stream audio from a small PC in our conference room. Disappointed to see there was no optical audio input, otherwise happy with my purchase.

The main reason for purchasing the receiver is because of the bluetooth capabilities. It has great sounds. We have had no problems with the bluetooth connecting to devices while inside or outside our home.

Bought to replace a 30 year old Realistic amp. A great replacement for a reasonable price. Using with 30 year old 100 watt speakers and cd player. Blue tooth makes a nice new addition. Everything sounds great.

Easy to set up, great Bluetooth range, sound quality for 2 channel music listening is very good, especially given no dsp. After owning the insignia 2 channel stereo receiver this is a definiate upgrade.

Glad to see somebody still makes a simple solid clean and powerful 2 channel stereo amp for audio listening without all the clutter and confusion of a home theater receiver. Plenty of inputs, logical operation, dead-quiet noise floor, basic but responsive remote control. About the only thing it lacks is a built-in phono pre-amp to directly plug-in a turntable here in this era of "vinyl revival." Then again, many newer turntables have a built-in phono pre-amp, or you can buy one to plug into this Yamaha for as little as $25. All told, for less than $150, you get a modern version of the classic stereo receiver that ruled home audio systems from the 60's thru 90's.

This receiver works great I had a older 100×2 receiver and could not handle my two tower speakers. This receiver handles them great and the bletooth works very good. Even at long distances.

I am so glad I purchased this receiver. We built a new house a year ago and we were thinking about getting Control4. If anyone has looked into home automation, it is very expensive. We were only wanting it for music (not lighting, thermostat, etc) so I wanted to check out other options. Went to BestBuy, and the salesman recommended I try this receiver. So glad I did - saved thousands! And it works great! It works on Bluetooth, sync to music source (iPad) and hook up speaker wires (we had hard wire speaker wires that we wired when building the house) and we were listening to music in the house in minutes. Wish we would have purchased a year ago!

I bought this for our in home sound system. The 100W per channel is more than enough power to run the 5 pair of Martin Logan in-ceiling speakers. Having the Bluetooth connectivity was a huge benefit over the old receiver we used to have. The sound and ease of use for the low price is amazing! Love it!

This is an amazing receiver especially for the price the Bluetooth works great the sound is great and I’m really surprised on what a great deal this receiver was. It’s a little bit on the low tech side but it does have Bluetooth and it’s probably a good receiver to start out with or put into a garage or shop.
