Do not buy! I repeat do not buy! The other reviews are correct this unit will fail you very quickly. My unit did not even last 3 months. It died within 2 months and 15 days. It is made out of cheap parts that appear to burn up very quickly. I didn't have geek squad protection so I am having to send it back to yamaha for repair and shipping to them I have to pay for. Go with the Sony Bluetooth. It appears to be made of better components.

Don't bother. At this price don't expect anything as far as sound quality. Purchased as Open Box. Waste of time. Returned and upgraded to much better receiver.

Tech came on July 6 did not have enough product to finish job I assumed they would return to finish job when they were a no show I called. They informed me it was my responsibility to call and make appointment my appointment is July 27 for a project that started june 9 and on July 27 the project will only half done. I understand the material delay why would you start with out material in hand

I am returning this stereo. The unit shuts off once you reach 40 on volume. You can barely hear the music.

Works great! Hooked up to our TV and audio surround speakers.

It is a Christmas gift. Will update later. Very fast delivery.

After just two months,the Bluetooth quit working. Cuts out during music and cuts off during phone conversation. Be sure to get the two year protection plan.

This is a low end receiver obviously. Bought it to power a couple of in home speakers via Apple play for music. Didn’t realize it has an auto shutoff feature that turns it off after four hours or so. So basically useless for what I need it for. Otherwise need to run to basement and turn it on then play music via iPhones to house system.

Bought this as a replacement for a old Sony stereo receiver. The sound quality was not as good as the old receiver. I ended up returning it.

Stopped working after 3 days. Luckily there was an easy return policy and I was able to upgrade.

I have bought 4 tuners and only one would connect to blue tooth. I have a Iphone. I bought Denon 750 and it connects right away. I have a Denon portable blue tooth speaker and it connects. Yamaha has issues. I wanted to return it but under Crap BUY policy I have 14 days. I couldnt get it to them in 14 days with the Covid-19

I picked this receiver over the other 2 channel receivers. For a few reasons. First for the power rating. Second for simple design. Third it's Bluetooth capability! Also Yamaha has been in the business for quite some time. Received this Receiver today. Hooked up my Polk RT-6 speakers to it. I'm using both A,B speaker selection since these speakers are Bi wired. Set up was easy. I also set up the Bluetooth connection which was easy. I tried the connection the way the instructions recommended. Which did not work for me. I ended up letting my cell phone accept the receiver instead of the other way around. Upon completion of set up. I can see and hear that I'm going to be very happy with this purchase. There is plenty of power for these speakers. The ease of use is also good. Yamaha thank you for a nice simple receiver that works well. I totally recommend this product. The only reason I gave this a 4 star rating is I feel there should be a 110V receptacle in back of the receiver for other component's. Other wise this is a 5 star unit.

Kept overheating and turning off. Returned it got another cheap amp

I've been trying to get help from Best Buy in Ft. Myers where I've purchased it. Was on hold for 45 minutes waiting on Home Theater Mgr, he was addressing another issue. They took my name $ number, still haven't heard anything. Geeksquad wouldn't/couldn't help me. They said I should call Yamaha (you kidding me). I'm hoping that Best Buy is going to stand by the product.

I have had to buy 2 of these units. 1st one didn't work. I returned it and got a replacement, it lasted 2 days and just stopped working. I plan on returning it. I'm very unhappy with this product. if I hadn't bought the $25 warranty I would be screwed.

this product cant run for a long period of time halloween 2020 had it on for about an hour playing music everyone is grooving an cuts off without warning wow go to check it out its hot turn back on put fan near it 20 mins later same thing dont buy

You need speakers! I guess the joke was on me. A few years ago I purchased something simular and the speakers were built in. The return policy states that I have to pay fees for returning. Uugh.
