Excellent choice, user friendly and cripse sound. This receiver is ideal for homevintertainment and back yard gathering. Allow easy access to play blutooth from several devices.

I bought this receiver to replace a 32 year Yamaha receiver that stopped working. I feel the old receiver had a tad more clarity, definition and open sound however the new one excels at very high volumn. The sound of the radio is excellent and even tho Bluetooth wasn't a reason I bought it, I am using that feature a lot, You can adjust bass & treble from the remote as well as the faceplate. If Yamaha is listening how about a 'loudness' or midrange control as well as a dedicated phono input!

Although I like the sound of Yamaha, I like the idea of having more control than my 1980's version. I put this baby through the test and it past with screamin colors, and I mean screamin. If it's too loud yer too old, I'm 71 and didn't want to be bothered by the cops so I turned it down. You know how it is, you just got to crank it up for that special rockin tune or it just don't sound right. I like the thump I feel in the floor, it goes great with Bose, clear as any fuzzbox or wahwah pedal or Moog synthesizer. Great purchase, makes me feel good, almost better than sex.

Bought to power 2 Klipcsh SCR1 roung 8" speakers in outdoor ceiling. 8ohm, 50 watt, 200 watt peak each.
Bluetooth works great and power produces great sound. Convienent Bass-Treble adjustment on remote and face of unit.
Only drawback is infrared remote. Unable to control outside if not in line of sight. An IFR would be a great enhancement to its utility. Can use phone bluetooth volume control to manage it. Also screen is too small to read unless you're 2 feet away. But a great price and quality sound.

Great receiver for the price. Basic but all I need for a turntable set-up and the Bluetooth has a solid connection. It’s a bit underpowered so I have crank up the volume a bit, but not too big of a deal. My only (little) annoyance is with the bass/treble adjustment; each goes from 0-10, but only in increments of 2.

Yamaha is music--instruments, books, method, and equipment--all excellent quality. This Yamaha 2-channel stereo receiver is well designed and attractive. The sound it transmits is not as deep as the sound produced by the Marantz, perhaps it is just different. I love it and recommend it. It is priced reasonably and available. It brings music alive to my four 40 year old wood Sansui speakers with 15" woofers. You are transported into a music hall with Miles Davis and Bill Evans on stage.

This receiver sounds surprisingly good for its price point. Bluetooth hooks up pretty easy after reading the instructions on how to pair a device. The sound is warm and crisp with a full Soundstage. Its a definite improvement over the LG all in one shelf stereo that i had previously. I love that the receiver is simple but has enough functions to fit my needs. The one quirk is that you have to turn it up over 50 before you start getting noticeable sound, but it still has plenty enough head room to get really loud.

There is literally nothing on the market that matches what you get for this price. I have a pair Of OG JBL 4310 speakers and this amp brought them back to life. Blue Tooth and remote are just a bonus.
