    Seems to be a great value. Coming from a much older receiver the sound is much sharper. This is good for voice audio but certainly different for music.

    Inexpensive receiver for basic stereo setup, paired with Altec Lansing speakers. The sound is much better for listening to music than my surround sound system. Glad I purchased this Yamaha receiver at Best Buy.

    I had a 7.1 channel Yamaha that was great for surround etc. I wanted to downsize and focus on music rather than TV sound. This Yamaha had what I needed. It has enough inputs to connect my Sirius satellite, CD player and bluetooth for my digital audio player. Bluetooth works flawlessly. I paired this with Elac speakers and I have a simple, great sounding system. Price is hard to beat!

    My son's old receiver went bad. I found this one online for what looked like a nice price and took a chance. I had never heard anything bad about Yamaha audio equipment so I felt good about this one. My son really likes it. He mentioned how good it sounds and he likes being able to stream music Bluetooth from his phone or tablet to the receiver. Nice receiver
