Excellent value. This is a second Yamaha that we purchased. The first is for background music in our living room. This one is one is for exterior speakers on a deck. Both perform extremely well for the intended purposes.

I was looking for something easy on my wallet for a pool party we were having and I came across this open box item at Best Buy. We got it home and connected it to our outdoor patio ceiling speakers and the audio was great. The party was a blast as we listened to music from the radio stations and via Bluetooth. Now I’m looking for a subwoofer to add to this receiver to give it that extra bass.

I purchased this receiver at a discount because the box had been opened. Antenna was missing and salesman gave me a discount on a power antenna which I'm sure is better than the original. Hooked everything up and it works great! Loud and clear!

The Yamaha receiver had machanical issues. Sales rep & customer service made me feel with the return.

Works exactly as advertised, great simple product by Yamaha. Connected the gym and playroom speakers and A and B channels and they work really good.

I have been a Yamaha electronics fan for years, quality is superior and this unit, though pretty basic, packs a great punch to my Polk and Pioneer tower speakers set-up....very clean, crisp, flawlessly delivered sound....it was a great buy!

Just needed an audio receiver with bluetooth and this was a perfect match for the speakers I already had. Easy to use, simple settings using the menu on the display.

We were looking for an inexpensive, brand-name receiver to connect to prewired speakers in our home to play music with a Bluetooth connection. This fit our needs well.

Not the best but i like it so far. I had sony but this yamaha is better hands down.

The new product was a more than adequate replacement for my old receiver that went kaput after 30 years of service. My new product has more features because of upgraded technology. The price was very reasonable. I’m pleased.

Bluetooth is a nice feature. Same good quality I have experienced from Yamaha.

I have two of these , one for the patio and one in the shop . They have a great all around sound when paired with the yamaha bookshelf speakers (NS 6490), not that great with the outdoor ones , now, if I could find some free music downloads somewhere....

Decided it was time to upgrade our receiver. A friend recommended this brand. It was easy to connect the cables and WiFi. The sound quality is amazing. I gave it 4 stars because there are too many darn buttons on the remote. Buttons that I don’t want to figure out what to do.

I always had good luck with Yamaha receivers and I expect this one will be no different. Nothing fancy just a solid simple device to go with my Denon Turntable and a set of Klippsch floor speakers. It sounds and works well in my office.
