we needed a receiver, this is a very good one and we are very pleased

Zero stars if I could. This was problematic from day 1. Cutting in and out of our integrated (built into home) speakers.Randomly not working at all. volume issues and remote control issues if it did work. I assumed it was my phone which was 2 years old and waiting for my chance to upgrade it. I upgraded when the Yamaha was 3 weeks old - too late to return to Best Buy I learned. They have a 2 week return window? BB are never seeing my money again. I bought a Sony for the exact same money on Amazon and it works like a dream - do not waste your money on this. I expected more from a known brand. I have Sony everything in entertainment and have for decades but I thought Yamaha deserved a chance - I was so wrong. I lost money and faith with BB because I couldn't return it. Bye Bye BB! I don't need you and your poor customer values.

Works perfectly with our vintage 1986 Bose speakers. Very easy to set up.

Sleek look, highly functional and powerful without the lofty price tag

When my existing 2 channel receiver quit working, I was able to replace it with the Yamaha and keep all my other equipment, including a coax FM antenna cable, CD player and 8 ohm speakers. I did have to buy an inexpensive amplifier for the turntable. I found no other receiver replacement that met my needs.

It does great for what I have used it for so far which is to listen to music.

worth the money for a 200 watt receiver. it fits nicely on a shlf in the house.

Easy to set up and use. However, there is static coming from the unit that is annoying and more so when connected to Head Phones.

This Yamaha delivers everything we wanted in a receiver at a nice price point. We are powering 2 pairs of speakers (Zone A, Zone B) for an outside building, and needed a simple, solid unit with reliable Bluetooth capability. Mission accomplished. I rated the quality 4*, because this is an entry-level model, but proportionate to the cost it probably deserves 5*.
