bought this unit to replace an older onkyo reciever. this unit has 100 watts per channel and is very loud but the sound lacks richness and depth

We love having good music in our home. Our old receiver was worn out but the other components were fine, so we only needed to replace the one piece. It works very well with our whole set up even though they are parts from different manufacturer. We;ow have wonderful music again.

Solid unit, nice features, but I would have to say the listed output vs actual might be a bit misleading. Great unit for a budget system just not the 100 watts per channel.

Very happy with this Yamaha receiver. I have owned Yamaha receivers in the past and have always been pleased with their performance. I need a receiver for the garage and when I saw that they made one in this price range I new I had to get it.

I needed a stereo receiver 2 channels this fit the bill.

Perfect Bluetooth stereo for my garage. A & B speaker setting works great to power garage and / or backyard patio speakers.

Perfect for my purposes, Sufficient inputs and outputs with the right kinds of connections, to include a good coaxial FM antenna connection. The Yamaha ties in perfectly with my fairly complex audio-visual system.

Serves all intents and purposes. Excellent connectivity and is the heart of my studio set-up.

Good sound. Handles 2 sets of stereo speakers good. It has a sleep timer that comes on when you turn the receiver on and you can't shut the timer off. It turns the receiver off after 8 hours. No way to get around it. There is no HDMI connection so the menu on the control is meaningless.is meaningless. There is no mention at all of the sleep timer in the advertising. The description in the manual is very vague. I am returning it and getting a Sony. I hope that works.

A great receiver at a friendly price . It even has a snooze timer which is great to set when trying to get some sleep .

my old receiver was more than thirty years old still works but not with my new cd player

Bought it for the FM receiver because I am in a remote area and other that I tried had no reception and this one did bring in my stations. I was also able to hook up my cd player. Would recommend.

This receiver has been our garage / outdoor receiver for over a year. Works great. Often have trouble in the Texas heat, but this one works fine

The stereo works as it should. One thing I like about it l, is it has AM radio.

This is good enough for me, better than the cheap speakers I’m replacing these with but certainly not high quality surround sound. I’m using them in my shop mounted midway to to the ceiling. They sound nice.
