Follow the instruction guide from online page by page and its easy to set up. Easy to use. HDMI ARC cable lets you turn your TV on and the reciever turns on automatically. Easy to use for the family just push one of the 4 buttons for TV, CD,DVD, and Reciever to select mode. Works with any speaker set up, and is easy to balance. One of my best purchases this year.

Iv purchased 3 different sound bars & was not impressed, I then purchased this amp & connected 5 Bose cube speakers a friend had given me & it sounds Amazing, after playing with the settings for a few days I know have it dialed in, I'm happy with the sound quality I would definitely recommend it, it's not 7.1 but it sounds great...

This receiver rocks!!! Have a in ceiling mounted surround sound system and used this bad boy to connect to them. Can connect to them pretty much anyway you would like (Bluetooth, aux, hdmi, optical) and has option for wired sub as well. Can’t go wrong with this system. The only down side is it is on the bulkier side, other than that I have no complaints.

Bought this home theater receiver to replace a Denon that was cutting in and out. It has a lot more features and options for sound depending on what you are watching. It's been a good purchase for us.

I downgraded to a less complex 5.1. I don’t need component video in or more than 5.1 channels. I may need the virtual surround for my new home where I can’t fit surround speakers behind me. I always measure the distance to speakers and manually correct the YPAO so that the surround speakers are the correct distance from the back side seats, not the front center seat where the mic is.

The HDMI connections made the new Sony TV and Blue ray player come alive on my Klipsch speakers. Replaced all connections, speakers wires, sub woofer from old(15 year old Sony A/V receiver) to new Yamaha. Home theater rocks the house, no need to go to the theater during COVID.

Had a Pioneer receiver before i had to upgrade due to the receiver not supporting 4k hdr after my tv upgrade. Since i i have no plans to set up an atmos system, i decided to pick this up and loving the sound quality that it pushes to my speakers. It does not do to well with the voice commands via my fire cube. Other than that, Im satisfied with the purchase.

I bought this receiver (first one I've owned) to power some klipsch towers mostly for music purposes. I didn't expect for it to make such a difference when actually watching TV and movies though. This thing has great power and is easy to use. A lot of features. The only thing missing from this model is that it doesn't have yamaha music cast.

For an entry level home theater receiver, this Yamaha is great. The setup was really easy and the room assist microphone (YPAO) was easy and fun. I love it right now but I hope I will feel the same in a year. I did purchase a separate sub-woofer to add to the sound, but it has also been seamless in the incorporation of sound in my living room.

I have own Yamaha receivers for years. Great receivers. This one was an exceptional buy. There are so many features and options you must print out the 100+ pages in the detail manual.

I bought this amp to drive an in-wall 5.1 system that came with my home. It definitely works and sounds excellent. I'm not sure if it's the Samsung TV or the amp that made it difficult, but getting this thing in the right mode to actually output 5.1 channel audio was a pain.

Very nice, easy to hook up. Instructions were easy to follow once I got them online. Puts out the sound to my Bose 5 speaker w\woofer system.

Yamaha has exceptional sound Quality and longer Lifetime then most of its competitiers. I'm 67 Years Old and this is only my third Yamaha audio system. Thank you Best Buy for Handling Yamaha audio equipment at a very fair and competive price.

Great item, lots of power, but this is more geared toward using for a home theater, not audio only.

First time buying a Yamaha receiver and it didn't disappoint. It's ultra HD really shows on my 86 inch LG TV. It boosts the sound through my Klipsch speakers with an amazing sound as well. Can't go wrong with this receiver.

I purchased this unit to replace my Denon unit that crapped out on me. So far I'm pretty satisfied with this unit , the only issue I've had so far is not being able to pair any devices via Bluetooth. This isn't a major concern for me but might be for others. Otherwise I feel this unit provides good sound for the price.
