Great sound, features are great for price. Bluetooth works great for streaming music from smart devices.

Bought a new a TV a few months ago and had been using an older receiver. Upgraded to this new one and wow! Really can tell a difference! Really impressed with this receiver, would absolutely recommend it.

Connected this to my in-ceiling home speakers and wow the sound is amazing!! Perfect for entertaining guests at home!! Watch the games, fights, etc with great quality sound!! Love this thing!

Purchased to replace another Yamaha amp I had that didn’t support 4K pass through. This is a great sounding amp. Yamaha quality as you would expect. Still running like a champ.

The Yamaha - 5.1-Ch. 4K Ultra HD A/V Home Theater Receiver - Black comes through with flying colors. Sound and separation is fantastic with Bose double cubed speakers. Would definitely purchase again.

I got tired of being isolated in the kitchen with the TV in the other room on the other side of a wall where I could hear but not see. This changed everything when it broadcasts a single to my little kitchen tv.

I had to replace my old receiver, and this fits the bill. It has the microphone to set up the levels at the location you'll be listening to it the most, the bluetooth is a big plus, and lots of sound and video options. I didn't need 7.2 sound.

Best stereo receiver ever. I own 2 of these. One in my living room and the other one is in my theater room.

Needed to upgrade my outdated home theater stereo system. The product was delivered promptly and was a breeze to install.

Necessary to first push a button to select the source of the audio one wishes to hear, then you must push another button to match the input from the back of the receiver to the source displayed on the front screen. This unit is overly complex and does not have an input for a turntable. I cannot recommend this unit. Stay away!

Really great sound and solid receiver as Yamaha should be. Lots of sound modes and plenty of inputs. Loves my Polk Audio speakers. Don’t need a sub with this receiver.

So far; I'm using it on two channel. It definitely has the ability to separate the highs, mids and bass on my Sony towers. Can't complain. It's good.

Easy to set up. I needed this to act as Advanced HDMI switcher. Worth every penny to hide all the home theater components in our cabinets. Add the Harmony RF remote for closed door control.

Came back to Yamaha after a poor experience with a Sony receiver. This was just like an old pair of shoes. Easy to set up and great sound quality.

For a basic living room setup where you'll be watching streaming services, UHD Blu Rays, or playing video games this has everything you need. Surprisingly good sound quality too.
