Yamaha has a great reputation and their receivers are no different. This is my 3rd Yamaha receiver. Solid reliability. Great sound. Big learning curve for the remote but that is to be expected.

I have my gaming console, ROKU, Firestick and the TV's optical output connected to this receiver. Has am/fm as well. Sounds great!

Great upgrade from what we had. Does the job! The Best Buy Employee let us open the box to ensure that we were buying a receiver that would work with the same connections as our old setup.

I replaced a broken Marantz receiver with this Yamaha and could not be more pleased. The sound and video in our 5.1 home theatre is outstanding.

So far have been happy with the performance BUT do feel that the connections on the back of the unit are misleading. When searching for a receiver I wanted one that accepted regular RCA inputs in addition to HDMI inputs. When I saw that this receiver had two (2) sets of RCA inputs I was thrilled. I did not, however, read the fine print that if you want the video from those RCA inputs to show up your tv/projector, you would have to run a separate video RCA cable from the back of the receiver to the tv/projector. Was very disappointed that the necessary hardware wasn't already included in the receiver to upscale the video, definitely would have affected my purchase.

Affordable receiver with all of the features I was looking for (eARC, 5.1, Bluetooth).

Quality product. Clean, distinct sound, sturdy frame, dials are clearly marked, good station separation that is clear and specific, very easy setup.

Nice unit, I would buy it again. Right now, I am still trying to figure out the required connections needed to take advantage of the in- wall surround system and my sound bar. That will probably require the purchase of an optical cable to connect the TV's audio out to the receiver. The HDMI connections don't seem to allow the entire system to play in all the available modes.

This Yamaha receiver is a great value and quality for its price. the sound that it produces is amazing and i would highly recommend this product.

Bought this to replace my 20 year old yamaha and couldn’t be happier with the sound quality. It may not be the loudest but it is clean and clear.

Works well. Comes with an auto tune function for the space you are in. YPAO. Having no issues thus far with speakers in a large space getting the sound we want.

Love it. This was my first AV 5.1 installation and it went amazingly. Pleasantly surprised at the ease of integeration between smart tv and AV unit.
