this receiver is great sounds great nice and clear no cracking and popping

So far have been happy with the performance BUT do feel that the connections on the back of the unit are misleading. When searching for a receiver I wanted one that accepted regular RCA inputs in addition to HDMI inputs. When I saw that this receiver had two (2) sets of RCA inputs I was thrilled. I did not, however, read the fine print that if you want the video from those RCA inputs to show up your tv/projector, you would have to run a separate video RCA cable from the back of the receiver to the tv/projector. Was very disappointed that the necessary hardware wasn't already included in the receiver to upscale the video, definitely would have affected my purchase.

I replaced a broken Marantz receiver with this Yamaha and could not be more pleased. The sound and video in our 5.1 home theatre is outstanding.

Quality product. Clean, distinct sound, sturdy frame, dials are clearly marked, good station separation that is clear and specific, very easy setup.

This Yamaha receiver is a great value and quality for its price. the sound that it produces is amazing and i would highly recommend this product.

Works well. Comes with an auto tune function for the space you are in. YPAO. Having no issues thus far with speakers in a large space getting the sound we want.

Bought this to replace my 20 year old yamaha and couldn’t be happier with the sound quality. It may not be the loudest but it is clean and clear.

Love it. This was my first AV 5.1 installation and it went amazingly. Pleasantly surprised at the ease of integeration between smart tv and AV unit.

The yamaha is easy to use. If I had one grip i wish the receiver had an little more dynamic range but at this price point you are not going to get that in any receiver.

This is the perfect entry level A/V Receiver. It's easy to set up and the functions are easy to use. If your only needs are 5.1 and aren't looking for top of the line sound that you would pay $3000 for then this works great.

Perfect receiver for both audio and AV. The Bluetooth function is a big plus. Have had this receiver for a year now and works perfectly.
