This is a nice inexpensive no-frills home theater. The feature set is average, the sound is nice... Wish it was connected to wifi for a remote control app.

Added this to our home theater system to replace an older one. Works great, fast response. Would definitely recommend this product.

A Five star based on features, cost, even though not a high end unit. The best feature is the self centering speaker balance accomplished using a special microphone in included with the unit.

I previously owned a different model of this same Yamaha receiver, but I could only get up to 1080p with my old system. Luckily this new receiver not only is 4k compatible, but it can automatically match the surround sound codec that is compatible with whichever streaming program, Ultra HD/Blu-Ray/DVD, or CD that I am playing.

It's OKI have it in my bedroom it Has a lot of distortion when I turn it up That is the one thing I don't like about it and I like Yamaha products

Exactly what I needed to replace my old receiver. It's nothing fancy, and that's perfectly okay. I have pre-wired 5.1 for my office/man cave and didn't want some big fancy receiver.

Got it to replace an older model Yamaha receiver, that was not 4K compatible. I use it to connect a Firestick, a cable box, and XBox OneS to Samsung TV.

This is a good replacement for our previous receiver. Hope it last as long!

This is a new (and so far) well functioning unit. It is not as easy to set up as I would like but do appreciate the print instructions. We have yet to get our third and fourth speakers functioning.

I bought this receiver to replace and old Denon that was going out. Picture and sound are nice. Great audio settings to tailor it to your sound liking. However, setting this up is a pain connecting it to your tv / hdmi. By using the setup button and selecting Hdmi for hdmi control “on”, picture and sound works for a few seconds and then sound goes back to audio 1 broadcast with no sound. Setting hdmi control off, the unit stays on but won’t shut off with the cable remote, even after programming it to read the receiver. It’s not the most user-friendly to set up.

Your receiver is wired into my harmony remote and it works fantastic I also bought a Q90 he from Best Buy but I haven’t gotten a questionnaire on it yet Or even recognizing the purchase
