I purchased this item as a open box excellent. Receive the item spend 2 hours setting up using the device only to finish and find out the remote does not work and the harmony remote does not have the inputs pre programmed so would need the origional remote to program. The device work great just frustrating that I had to return because they did not test the remote before reselling. Was able to exchange so all is well now. Be prepared to have issues with open box items.

Entry level Audio and Video receiver is a great choice for small rooms.

Don't use as much pulls in the stations great with no interferance on AM or FM

This receiver is good and gets the job done. The only drawback is that the remote requires line of sight, and I like putting it behind the door in my shelf, unfortunately I have to open the door to turn it on because the remote can't shoot through it. My other receiver has an app that can control it to get around this problem, but unfortunately I haven't found that functionality with this receiver.

Works as we hoped. Was a replacement after our last one was damaged.

Bluetooth connectivity is weak, tried to use this to power 2 zones indoor and outdoor for music. The bluetooth sinal constantly cut out and was spotty. The sound was okqy but spend the extra few hundred and buy a reciver with hardwired server capabilities and never have music cut out

So far so good. Everything works as should. It was confusing at first.

Good and do the job. Budget friendly. Audio is also good.

I haven't got it out of the box yet. Bought it to use after I get some other items. Best Buy says I have to do a review so I am telling you I assume it's an ok receiver. Still using an old Denon receiver but was needing to upgrade and they didn't have a Denon in stock so I bought the Yamaha. We will see how it does, when I am ready to install it.

Works as expected. A bit of work to find just the right sound choice.

This replaced a Yamaha that was struck by lightning

I needed a new 5 ch receiver to replace one that died. this was on sale and meet all my needs.

I am giving this 0 stars. I purchased this product because I felt that Yamaha was a good brand. The receiver has died twice within 11 months of purchase. I didn't buy the warrantee from Best Buy, so they won't even look at it. (I may be spoiled, but my previous receivers have never lasted less than 20 years.) I have now had to send it to NY for the second time to have it repaired. I suspect that I will have to buy a new receiver within the next 6 months.
