The Yamaha receiver is a very good home theater sound system.

Replaced a very old audio receiver with this system. I've had it for about a month now and it seems to be running great with my Bose 5.1 speakers. The microphone auto adjustment seemed to work well at adjusting the speakers, and haven't had any significant issues. The only thing I would change is more HDMI ports (only four, five is optimal). Otherwise, this Yamaha receiver is a fantastic bang for your buck. If you need more power, then you may have to get the next unit up, but for 95% of people this system is perfect.

This is a good solid product from a trusted manufacturer. The price also lives up to expectations.

We needed a new receiver to work with our new smart TV. This has all the hook ups we need and then some. So far it works pretty slick and we have it set up to turn on when we use the TV. The buttons feel a little lower quality than an older Yamaha receiver we bought about 8 years ago. The connectivity between the TV and receiver works seamlessly so we can control the volume on the receiver with the TV remote. The positioning of the four present buttons on the front panel is nicely designed and we've used those a lot already.

Works as advertised and easy to setup and use quality was as good as expected. I used this to work in my new RV very pleased with my purchase.

sound quality is good and it was easy to hook up in place of our previous receiver that died. Good value and hopefully, it has some good longetivity.

Plenty of power. Powering 4 sets of speakers with no drop off, or lack of sound quality. Bluetooth is a nice touch.

I've been using a 7.2 Yamaha for over 7 years now. Because of how solid that has been, it was obvious I was going to get another. I decided to "retire" another old receiver that's been in service for so long. I'm now at a point where this is set to where I want it. I wouldve preferred a component input but it would've just been for one item anyway. Other fun features (Bluetooth, USB, AUX) are actually really handy as well. Needing something to deliver the goods in a small setting, then this is your receiver!

Works great! I had the older model which was good but wanted to upgrade to the latest version.

I bought this for my son to use at college and beyond. No need for ultra complex receiver as long as it has sub out and can accept his blue tooth and connected devices along with xbox. Once you set it up there is little to go wrong and no incredible complex menus . It isa now in his living room performing smoothly. He is not an audiophile, but he does hear the quality of the Yanaha compared to other brands his roommates had.

It works as an entry level AV receiver. No equalizer settings and no bass level control. Bass simply has boost on or off.

Set up mic did a decent job. Needs minor tweaking after. Love that it has Bluetooth built in and a simple remote set up.

It's really amazing product. I have an old Projector system and don't have wired speakers. I connected Bluetooth speakers with this receiver and HDMI cable with Projector. Now I can connect any device (with HDMI) and it works fantastic.

Amazing quality, exactly as described. Perfect media center for those who are new to the surround sound world. Changed the entire experience in my living room.
