The stereo was very easy to set up and the quality is good.

This is my 3rd Yamaha receiver - I trust their products. Needed something inexpensive and uncomplicated for a small room. This receiver was perfect. Probably deserves 5 stars, but the bluetooth seems fussy and I haven't figured out why yet.

Had the receiver installed last week, it is a very nice receiver and surround sound very good. The remote is very easy to work with, to change from Dish to DVD or games or whatever we want to do. Very good for the price. The only thing that I can criticize is that when you increase or lower the volume, it doesn't show on the tv.

This receiver sounds great and functions perfectly. The only is I had in setting it was with the speaker terminals. You have to wrap the wire around the post instead of threading into the terminal that has a secure clamp. Other than that it’s a great receiver fir a 5 speaker system

I don’t know what I am doing wrong but the sound keeps cutting out for a second or two randomly. It only happens when using tv audio through it, Bluetooth has no cut outs. I’m not super tech savvy so take this with a grain of salt because it is possibly user error. That being said it’s either tricky to set up or has audio issues. But when using Bluetooth I like it fine.

Just use it for my TV, but eARC works great, my 2 celestian bookshelf speakers sound great through it.

Easy to setup, this is my second one. We put one in our movie room and the 2nd one in the motorhome to replace the out-dated system there. In both cases I needed a 5.1 system and this fit the build. Works great with DirectTV, Bluetooth and other sources. Greatly simplified the wiring from the older system.

Very nice, easy to hook up. Instructions were easy to follow once I got them online. Puts out the sound to my Bose 5 speaker w\woofer system.

I really like the sound that this is putting out. It was easy to set up.

Had a lightning strike and replaced my fried Yamaha unit for this as it was the closest model. Very satisfied with performance. This receiver can put out a lot of volume so be certain your speakers can handle the output at high volume if you want clarity and no clipping of the music.

So far this has been a great unit. Setup was easy. I use Poke speakers and the sound is fantastic. I use the receiver mosly for home theater surround sound. I live in the country, only negative I have is the radio reception is not as good as I hoped.

This is a reasonably priced home theater receiver that provides excellent sound . Mine has a strange glitch...when I set my system to come on all at once, the protection circuit puts the speakers on mute. I then have to turn off the receiver and then turn it back on for the speakers to fire up!

Good value for the price. Easy to set up and operate.

I can't give this receiver the "Excellent" rating. Truth is their not made like they used to be. This is replacing my 22 year old Yamaha RXV 793 which is twice as beefy in the weight and size dept and packed more low end power. Sure everybody raves about this units price and hdmi connections BUT if you wanna get punched in the face I'd spend more on Yamaha's high end series!

Works great with Panasonic projector.with 30 feet cable.Had to return a different receiver that was cheaper in price would not shut off with Apple TV. this unit works great would recommend

Easy to install and great sound. Simple layout to switch between inputs.

I bught this to replace Denon that died. Very happy with the versatility. Easy to set up. My only complaint, and a small one, is the manual. The quick set up is fine, but the online is vey cumbersome, not written for the average person, difficulet to navigate. I have learned more with trial and error

This receiver does everything we need. It was simple to install and nice features.
