Great item, lots of power, but this is more geared toward using for a home theater, not audio only.

I bought it to replace the previous model, which didn’t support the latest specifications. It does what I needed, plays the 4K content of my Roku in a 5.1 system, and now it has Bluetooth. Plenty of hdmi inputs.

Great quality and happy that it is a direct replacement for my old system. I was pleased this system was a new version and direct 1 for 1 for surround sound speakers already installed in my house.

I am giving this receiver 5 stars because of price and added features over my old receiver that died. I especially like the usb option so I can make my own music mix as well as have hours of play time and not have to keep changing CD's. I like the sound quality watching TV or a DVD movies.

Just bought this receiver recently, I was a little intimidated at first but once I opened the box, it was very simple to operate, loved the YOAO , haven’t played around with the Bluetooth yet, gives my legend audio speaker surround sound just enough bump, if I need more bump there is a bass button

Best bang for your buck when it comes to 5.1 4k. Works great for speakers that dont need too much power to be driven.

Reasonably priced, solid build quality, and sounds great so far. Plays really nice with an Apple TV 4K and LG UHD TV. I’m just using a 3.0 setup and being able to turn up the center channel for louder voices was what I wanted most. Someday I’ll build a 5.1 system around it.

Bought this to replace my old Onkyo and couldn’t be happier! Has great punch for an entry level receiver. Not to flashy but very user friendly buttons. I absolutely love the audio set up mode for speaker set up. Takes the guesswork out.

This is the fourth HT received that I have owned. First was a Sony (analog only, no decoding), second was a Yamaha (no HDMI), next was a Pioneer that just failed after 9 years. This was to replace it. I bought this since my old Yamaha is still working after 17 years. I may have given it 5 stars except for on critical issue. I set it up according to the manual. STB to HDMI-2, BD player to HDMI-1 and UHD TV to HDMI out into the ARC designated HDMI port on the TV. When I turn the TV on using the STB remote, the receiver turns on originally displaying the STB, but then changes to Audio-1. I get no sound until I use the Yamaha remote to change the input to HDMI-2. Since an HT receiver is primarily used to provide the audio for a TV, having to use two different remotes to get started is ridiculous.

Wonderful Soundsystem, I love listening to the TV on the system and listening to my DVDs and SiriusXM. It’s not a lot of joy to my TV viewing.

I've used Yamaha audio starting in the 1960s and they last and give memorable performance. The last amp didn't get used for several years and that was fatal, and it was sold for parts to an engineer with curiousity. This latest 5.1 has not quite matched up with others. Far from ilntuitive controls. FAR. And the FM is not to my liking; all radio sound lacks something. Perhaps this is placement or my settings, but clarity and presence are lacking. Another site should be tried, for the device deserves better.

Actually better than the previous model i had. Very happy to have gotten it and make movies and shows much better to watch.

Replaced another Yamaha that went out after 9 years. Needed something that could handle plenty of HDMI hookups but doesn't need to do much more. Only thing that would make it better is if there was a good soundbar I could integrate to get surround sound with receiver capability. I need all my devices to pass through the receiver with my setup which makes a soundbar useless with several inputs needed.

the sound is great and it is very easy to use. looking forward to using it for a long time
