Great sound ,wish I had more control of the settings

won't play both sub's at same time without unplugging optical cable for sound bar/sub from tv & plugging into dvd player.wasn't an issue with old setup.plus have to buy a Y splitter cable to plug powered sub into Yamaha & cuts its power in half.not cool,i like to ROCK !!

Consistent quality with 2 Yamaha predecessors I owned. Only needed this upgrade for ARC capabilities to drive my surround setup. Working as expected. The automated speaker optimizer(YPAO) was a nice touch.

Was told this had A and B speakers when I bought it but it doesn't. The Bluetooth doesn't work really great either. It sounds pretty good when it works.

Receiver itself is great but the remote has a button that is stuck on and keeps changing the input and batteries are dead next morning

A good and basic 5.1 receiver. While it has a USB port on the front, it doesn't work for a hard disk. It can be used to power a chrome cast which is plugged in the back side, so it be good if the USB port is in the back. The remote buttons are little confusing and needs reorganization.

Not as many features as some others. Still a great product though.

I love this receiver but the weird volume control numbers with the positive and negative features are confusing. I like a simple 1-20 display to keeping it simple.

This is one of the best receivers you can get for 300 or less. On Bluetooth playback, the first half second of a song will be skipped, which is a minor issue, but a little annoying. Most of the DSP modes are not that great. The room correction was pretty good however.

has plenty of menu's to adjust your sound system to fit your room and speakers. the self adjust feature with included mic is a good starting point. Allows you to adjust each speaker individually with level and equalization.

I've been using this receiver for a month, and it's been working exactly as it's suppose to. Absolutely no complaints, and all complements to Geek Squad!

The device itself works great but the box was missing the remote which made it more like a brick until I could order one on Amazon.
