Easy set-up with a microphone that's used to automatically balance the sound in your listening area. The 4K past through and up-scaling HDMI output channel make it a breeze to watch all video channels in UHD.

Great product works perfect no problems. Bluetooth works that's one reason I purchased it the ability to use with wireless speakers. Not all offer that feature at a reasonable price.

I have owned Yamaha components for the past 20 years and when it came time to replace my receiver I immediately looked for another Yamaha. The brand is affordable and quality is excellent.

Excellent receiver. Has a lot of options. Enjoying it very much.

Looks good, sounds good but there are too many menus to scroll through to reach the various settings you may need. So the product performance is excellent but the human interface is a bit cumbersome.

I love the Receiver and i dig the sound!! Next will be a 7.2 Receiver!! Keep on Rockin!!

We had a similar receiver for at least 10 years that finally gave out. We purchased this one because it was similar. Didn't have to rewire anything and it was easy to hook up to existing wires.

WOW!! It is an amazing av unit. I combined with with external amps for the larger speakers and used its internal amp for the smaller and speakers. the sound was superb.

I enjoyed using this 5.1 home receiver. I want to upgrade to a 7.2 so I might be looking into a 7.1 receiver.

Easy. EASY.. automated setup with included mic. Enough connections for my gear seems then some. Couldnt be happier. At this price level, i couldn't do better and I'm a 30 plus year audio visual engineer/ expert.

Works great for what I need it for. Use on back porch for surround sound on a TV. Been using for amongst a year. Moisture and humidity has not killed it yet.

I bought this Yamaha receiver (model RX-V385) to replace the same model I previously had which died after 3 years. Despite the untimely demise of that receiver, I was very happy with it, so I decided to buy the same model. Unfortunately, I had a problem with the new receiver randomly powering off on its own. The Geek Squad had done the initial setup for this receiver but the problem began a few days later. I did a little research online and found that many others were experiencing the same issue of the receiver randomly shutting off. Yamaha is aware of the issue which they say may be due to a variety of issues, such as a built-in overheating protection mechanism, faulty power connection, incorrect speaker settings, or Yamaha's Auto Power Standby feature, which when enabled, shuts down the receive at a specified time. I had the Geek Squad follow up to check all these potential problem factors but they found none of these were the cause of the random shut offs. In the end, I returned the Yamaha and bought a Denon receiver, which is working beautifully. Based on my experience, and knowing that other people have experienced the same problem with this model (and other Yamaha model receivers), I can not recommend it.

Upgraded from an older Yamaha model, and so far I'm enjoying a few additional features and more power. The receiver works great and can't be beat for the price.

Needed to replace older Yamaha. Simple electronics.

This receiver has many connection options. I play all my electronics through this receiver. I even have my desktop play music through it. I would recommend this product to anyone
