I think this is probably a great receiver for most people it’s nice but if you are upgrading from a current surround sound system spend a little more to get a better sound. With this system it can only give you so much - I could tell the difference when I went to the Onkyo 6100 it may cost more but you don’t want to be thinking afterwards should I have saved or spent more because this is nice but………..

Excellent quality and sound. Had BestBuy install the tuner and wire to existing speakers. The installers were professional and efficient

No Yamaha Manual included and explaining variable settings and Tone controls

Looking for a tuner/amp that would let me connect my older vhs/dvd player to watch vhs on the newer TV's that don't have the connections for it.

Great product I upgraded my old Yamaha 3D pass for this new 4K. Plus and play. Love how it syncs up on ARC with all my other components

Great for a very reasonable price. We needed to update our surround receiver for several reasons and this Yamaha receiver fit the bill.

Purchased this to set up my Dad's home theater. Needed an HDMI pass through and an audio out. This had what we needed, and considerably more than he'll ever use.

I bought a used one, though everything is in pretty good condition. Works well my Samsung TV. Would be even better if has WIFI enabled.

The Yamaha 5.1 Home theater receiver is fantastic. It fits perfectly with my Klipsh Home theater Speakers and woofer.

I use this with BOSE surround sound speakers which I also bought from Best buy. Together it is a deadly combo. Love my music system.

I expected good quality from Yamaha and it delivered what I wanted. It’s not high end as is my living room equipment, but it wasn’t expected to be. Definitely adds good sounds to to my morning coffee.

Open box came without instructions. Moving through flash drive files is clumsy without the directions.
