Very good quality sound coming from my Klipsch speakers. Easy to set up and Bluetooth from phone for music. Lots of options for sound bar or from said speakers.

Not the most feature filled receiver but its very very good for the price. Nice clear sound. It says it has an EQ but its really clumsy for each speaker.... you won't want to adjust it for just 1 song. Never the less, its available. I use it to clear up the center channel for speech...which was a bit muddy with my last receiver. Huge improvement. A++

Lots of features in this unit, with plenty of power to give a theater experience at home. Easy to set up and use. Only issue so far is finding the right code for my DirecTV remote, but I don't have a problem juggling remotes, so no biggie.

Bought the speaker to,power my sound system, dvd, and tv. Chose this unit because it allowed bare wire speaker connections which I needed. Produces quality sound and was easy to set up and operate.

This is my second Yamaha receiver for my home. Setup was easy sound is wonderful. This one is powering a 5.0 system I have on a screen porch with a TV. With all the ambient noise I still have an excellent TV and music listening experience

can't really compare to other quality brands of new video/audio receivers but coming from a Sony reciever from the 90's totally worth the price just for the bluetooth and control of crossover and hertz settings,speaker distance settings to fine tune the sound to your preferences it makes my cerwin vega vs 120's sound crisp clear and shake the house when asked just turn up the bass and if u still crave bass just hit the extra bass button. cool bonus that when connected to a TV that the radio menu comes on your TV and it auto detects what is connected to it and displays the device name you don't have to name the input and comes with a ypao microphone( yamaha parametric room acoustic optimizer) and will actually tune the sound for you

Bought it to replace my 10-year old Sony receiver to have 4K and Bluetooth transmit. I use a Bluetooth headphone when on the treadmill. There's also noticeable improvement on the sound of my powered subwoofer when watching movies. It's really great especially for the price.

Setup was pretty straightforward. I bought it to pair with my TV and surround sound Bose speakers (5). Like any new system, I had to play with it a while to listen to the various surround sound options. I was very impressed with the microphone that comes with the unit and the units ability to self optimize balancing the speakers.

I upgraded to this receiver to allow audio playthrough HDMI (ARC), as well as deliver enough power to my Klipsch 5.1 speakers. It has been great, and is a great value for the money.

This tuner is easy to set up. It has 4 HDMI pass thrus. A microphone for easy surround set up. The sound is warm and wonderful. It has DTS, Dolby D, and pro logic decoders. For some one with no need for lots of fancy confusing bells and whistles. just a good solid sound system

Got this to replace an older Yamaha that sadly gave up the ghost. This stereo hooked up to my LG TV and with a few onscreen menus via the HDMI output, it was configured just the way I like it. I used the microphone included to self-tune the audio characteristics of the receiver in relation to the room. This is a great feature of the Yamaha that my older receivers didn't have. Powers on and off via CEC sent from my LG TV, works as I'd expect. Bluetooth works fine on it as well. Great value.

Easy setup, sound quality is good for the room receiver was set up. Best part is the single HMDI out to TV. Nothing like minimising the cable clutter. Recommend this if in the market for a receiver that will handle everyday use.

This unit replaces a previous Yamaha receiver that I have been using 24/7 since about 1995. It has tough genes to live up to. After about a week, everything is working fine. This model isn't as rich in features as "old faithful", but it does all that I need. I was a bit disappointed to find out that receivers are still, these many years later, not available with RF remotes, so I had to re-use my Niles repeater gadget. My review is, so far, so good. If it lasts as long as the previous Yamaha, I can take it with me to my next gig in heaven.

Love our Yamaha home theater receiver. It was an easy setup and Bluetooth connection. And best of all the sound is amazing!

A close lightning strike took a channel out of our older Yamaha receiver in the bedroom. It was a good one for several years. Looked at this one for some time and finally decided on it. We've owned a Yamaha RXV-2700 receiver since the year it came out for our system in the living room. Several years ago too now. This thing has been on almost every day since we purchased it. Love it. Never a single problem and sounds fantastic with Klipsch Chorus II's , Klipsch Academy center, Klipsch KG2.5 rears. Hsu sub up front and a Klipsch sub near field under end table at couch too. Will always stick with Yamaha. This new receiver for our bedroom is pretty powerful too. Great sounding as expected. And at this price! Just need a better surge protector now..

Bought as replacement for Sony STR-DH590, which decided to go into protect mode 30 days after warranty , after reading reviews it's a common problem, sorry I digress. I'm glad I purchased this Yamaha, sound is much better vs the sony. Highly recommend this unit.

Thought I was going to have a problem with this product in the beginning as it went into a mode that would not allow you to hear the audio when using as an AV unit. Then after a little research on Yamahas website it suggested to do a factory reset on it which I did and have never had a problem since. So if you buy this product and this happens to you don't give up, because I was literally two days from bringing it back to the store when I read that this does happen every once in awhile to these model receivers. Don't give up on it. Follow the instructions and read up on the awesome features that this has because there are certain ways to use certain preset features to make your listening and viewing experience top notch!

I was looking to upgrade my 10 year old + HK receiver and the choice was between this receiver and another brand receiver. I read the reviews on this one and reviewed the specs and my only concern was that on the negative reviews it was mentioned that this receiver ran extremely hot and due to the heat would stop working. I have been using this receiver for a month now and it runs cool, it does not get hot as others have claimed. The setup was easy, the sound is great and using it is just as easy. I would recommend this receiver to someone looking for a great budget AVR.

Your typical well designed and manufactured Yamaha product. I've had many Yamaha receivers and products over 40+ years and they never disappoint. We replaced an older receiver, so we would have the A/V feature with our Sony 75" set. Drives our Klipsch speakers well. The remote and panel controls are quite easy to learn. The on screen controls and menus are easy to use is that is what one wants to use. This was one of the few A/V receivers that had both a AM and FM tuners at this price point. Great capture with a minimal FM dipole. AM capture was fine with the provide Loop antenna. We use most straight through on the audio and video. Great home theater experience.

Easy setup, room for wired speaker connections was sufficient, nice to be able to input four HDMI to a single TV HDMI connection. Decent sound quality, surround works well.
