Good sound, plenty of power, little difficult to operate at first.

This was easy to set up and it is veryeasy to use.

I bought this to replace the one I had that was acting up. But now it is working perfectly. I thought I better hang in to the new one. It is just like the old one so I know it is a good product.

Typical good Yamaha receiver, as expected. Easy user friendly set up.

I think this receiver is generally pretty good. However, this specific one that I purchased did not give enough power to my subwoofer. I tried different cords and adjusted so many settings without any luck. The woofer sounded flat and made some odd noises. I ended up returning it and buying a Denon receiver which is powering all my speakers with no problem. I do like the Yamaha interface and functions better but the Denon gets the job done with the speakers which is more important to me, of course. Best Buy didn’t flinch when I returned the Yamaha. They are super fantastic.
