The remote code that turns it on is not the same as the code that turns it off. So you can't use a single remote with your system, you must use their remote and your remote. You can get everything to work with a universal remote except turn it on. I have a 5.1 system with a cable box and SUHD tv. I want to hit the power button and have everything turn on or shut down. I don't want to have to pick up multiple remotes to control each device. I returned this unit and bought an Onkyo. I like it much better.

It works really good but sometimes the volume on the remote doesn't work all that great

It does the job but wasn't as good as others I've bought from other brands when looking to do more advanced things. It doesnt do all audio ports out through the HDMI.

The instructions do have it written on the box. You don’t know this information until you open the box.

My husband needed a receiver for his garage. This one fit the bill. It wasn’t so expensive and it works great for where he uses it.

I bought this thinking it was 100w per channel. Turns out it is less than that.

I quite simply takes too long to get things accomplished through Best Buy. I think we will shop elsewhere in the future.

Worked for less than 2 months and then started turning on and off every 2 minutes 24 hours/day. Had to return it to Best Buy.

I have 5 Klipsch 13x8 in wall speakers and a 110w subwoofer. The receiver could not handle this setup.

Open box purchase listed as Excellent Condition. This receiver did function properly. Poor performance and did not keep settings. Frustrating to say the least. Returned and paid the difference for a Denon Reciever

Very happy with this Yamaha receiver. I have a 5.1 surround system, and this unit has increased the quality of my old unit (Pioneer 5.1 dating back to 2011). Many sound options, and setup using the included setup microphone makes balancing the system easy.

Not good it won’t tone in radio stations.when I my CD player it sounds good.

Disappointed for the first time as a Best Buy long time Customer. Purchased this unit online and it was shipped from out of state. Arrived and it was packed well but it showed signs of being dropped and also heavy use. Not happy with this purchase. Very disappointed with Best Buy

Only 120 watts per speaker, didn’t have the power to run all my speakers.
