I love this receiver! It has great sound, plenty of power, and is reasonably priced! The only thing I would like to have on it is “Alexa” compatibility.

This one was so easy to use and understand. I would recommend to anyone that loves great sound but easy to use.

It is much louder than the one that broke (after ten plus years.) Easy to install.

We bought a house last summer and when we moved in I realized that the previous owner had hardwired the living room and kitchen for surround sound. I started looking around for A/V receivers. I used to use a Sony which was very good. This Yamaha is great. It was relatively easy to set up and calibrate. What I like more is the bluetooth feature which allows any of us in the house to stream our favorite music.

I bought this receiver 2week ago. This is good and affordable one if you could not or don't want spend too much your hard earned money on Hi -end. It's nothing wrong with this just less wattage and not fancy. Sound for Music I personal think better than the DENON AR-2002 I had, but for Movie the Denon was better. Note: Don't forget to adjust Volume ( in speaker setting for more gain on Inputs and SUB. ).

As a disabled veteran with poor hearing this receiver has done an excellent job with a small set of speakers, allowing me to hear my TV. Have to admit that the sound from the TV's and even the sound bars don't compete. Compatability with the TV's thru Hdmi is simple. No Complaints.

It's really amazing product. I have an old Projector system and don't have wired speakers. I connected Bluetooth speakers with this receiver and HDMI cable with Projector. Now I can connect any device (with HDMI) and it works fantastic.

This is not a fancy receiver by any stretch but I simply needed to replace a 17 year old Yamaha receiver. I did not need too much as far as features so this was a good fit. I have a custom programmed remote that works with this receiver for volume and power functions. I have worked with the Yamaha product for over 20 years in the A/V install business and their receivers are my favorites.
