I had an old one version of this receiver and loved it. Then I had a couple sound bars and they don’t come close. Very happy with this sounds great for music and movies

Nice receiver. Has 4 hdmi inputs for all my devices. Compatible with my existing speaker setup, which made the setup simple.

Repeat purchase, we were just upgrading. This is the 3rd Yamaha home theatre purchase we have made over 15 years. Systems are long lasting and great quality. We would recommend to anyone.

It's high-quality and works exceptionally well but I wish it had a DVD player so that I could enjoy my collection.

Yamaha has a great reputation and their receivers are no different. This is my 3rd Yamaha receiver. Solid reliability. Great sound. Big learning curve for the remote but that is to be expected.

Looking for this item on the Best Buy website was so easy and efficient being able to track my package and get it the next day was great as well. The only complaint I have is when delivering they deliver it in the manufactures box and leave it on my porch without attempting to hide it. I wish they put it in another box to cover what is was to lower the chance of theft or at least tried to hide it.

Also has FM that receives clear channels!! Great sound, especially when I can choose different modes of sound, movie, tv or radio modes make the sound clear and surround clear also

Very happy with this Receiver. It replaced an older version (RX-V379) that quit sending video after multiple power outages during severe winter storm. The bluetooth works great with my phone.

Right up front I no longer have this Receiver. I was very happy with it and the sound quality was fantastic if not for the following issue I would rate it 5 stars. I am not an audiophile by any means but do know great sound when I hear it. The set up was easy and everything from on screen menu to the ease of use of the remote were great. Once set up and ready to roll is where things started to fall apart for me. First Apple TV would not play. I did everything short of a hard reboot. Of course one thing Twas o make sure I did not have a dead HDMI port I switched in the Fire stick which was fine. So my conclusion was Yamaha dose not like Apple TV streaming. Next Issue. I use DirecTv and could not pair my remote. Not a deal breaker by any means. The real issue was even w/o the DirecTv remote paired as I would use the remote it would constantly change the Audio output to another source,HUGE Problem. At that point I could not switch it back to hear audio. I would either have to Change the Channel turn off the DirecTv Receiver or the Yamaha. No changes of settings I did would stop it from happening. NOTHING> The 2 systems had a cross frequency issue and it could not be eliminated. I fought with it for almost a month and The only option I had was to return the Receiver. So that's where it stands for me. I loved it but yet hated it and I am still w/o a receiver at this point.

Very good sounding receiver for the price. It was very easy to install/setup and came with a tool to automatically adjust speaker levels.

Overall pretty happy with this. Biggest gripe is the auto input select, which there's no apparent way to disable and it's inconsistently responsive to my comcast remote. I use this 99% of the time for my TV watching, but either I have to manually turn it and sometimes it randomly selects the wrong input and I have to manually select the xfinity box,
