1 week in, we are very happy with this receiver. a sony I had (for a very long time) died a few years ago, and I never replaced it until now. This is at a good balance between features and price. Bluetooth supports streaming from mobile phone to system. Surround sound with movies works great. TV is hooked up with HDMI Arc, so this turns on automatically when I turn on the TV, and the TV automatically plays through it. The TV remote can control the receiver volume without any special setup. FM radio channels come in fine with the included antenna. Only 1 complaint, and it is not necessarily the fault of the receiver: sound output totally lacks bass. So, not I am going to have to pickup a subwoofer. Hopefully this receiver has components built to last...

We replaced our old receiver with this 4K receiver. It’s perfect! Sound is excellent. It was very easy to set up.

I have had several pcs of Yamaha sound equipment. Easy set up and great sound paired with Sonance 5.1 speakers.

A Great quality receiver, it was easy to set up. The sound quality through our Bose Surround system has vastly improved compared to our old receiver. I would recommend this receiver to to anyone looking for a good quality receiver and not break the bank.

We purchased this to replace a much older Yamaha receiver which did not have HDMI capabilities. We're just as pleased with this one as the older one - works great, setup was easy, and the sound quality with our speakers is wonderful.

Sound is GREAT! Bought an open box unit. It was rated as "excellent" and it was. I don't think it had ever been used, since the power cords was never unwrapped. Saved $100. Incluedse a mic for synchronizing the speakers, easy to do, but concerned will loose it! That is why I down graded easy of use

This is a nicely featured A/V receiver for the budget conscience buyer. It has a nice simple layout and produces decent sound. It's Bluetooth enabled so you can play music from a smartphone or other device. For less than $250 it is well worth the money.

I love my new receiver I have the same one but it was 10 years older I felt lost when it finally quit this area has plenty of power sounds excellent fills my house with beautiful sounds I would highly recommend this receiver for the money it's outstanding Yamaha makes some very good stuff thank you Yamaha

Sounds are great in my livingroom. I can listen to the radio while still watching TV with the sound off. Its great.

This is a very nice audio receiver! Easy to setup and get things sounding just the way I want. With a bang for the buck value I can appreciate!!

I bought this receiver to replace my 10 year old Yamaha receiver. It works well. I really enjoy being able to connect my Bluetooth enabled gear. The sound s crisp.

Love this receiver so much that I forced my brother-in-law to buy the same one (he loves it).... above 100watrs per channels, Bluetooth connectivity and different type of input. Only problem is that you need a MIC amplifier for karaoke :(.....

Good value for the money with this Yamaha. Worked for my more simple solution. Only problem I ran into is converting my subwoofer to the connection on the Receiver.

Powerful receiver even with my old speakers. Bluetooth, radio, and controls TV inputs. Aded a powered to add more bass. Love the diagnostic microphone which makes sure your surround sound setup correctly.

I held off giving it 5 stars because we have had this for just a bit over a month and are still learning how to use it properly. The physical setup is pretty straightforward and it appears to be working properly, but there are so many nuances to all of the possible settings that it takes time to understand and try out all of the possible settings to get the best sound. On a related note, my only complaint is that the user guide that comes with it is all but useless. You have to download a 100+ page owners manual in order to figure out the entire setup. It seems like a product like this should really have a complete printed manual in the box.

In over a year I have had no issues for this product. It works very well for my 5.1 system. The quality is great to me and my wife, but we aren't geeks about this. I would recommend this receiver because it is a great value.

I purchased this for my 75” LG Tv. It was easy to set up and I connected this to my Sony surround speakers. The system makes me feel like I’m in a theater. I love it!

Set up and attaching all my components I have had for awhile was easy. My surround sound is very good. Changing what is connecting to my large display from my Cable box to Xbox system is much easy now. Replace a working receiver unit 30+ years old.

Great receiver. Picture and sound are always top notch, easy to set up, and has lots of inputs for many devices.
