I was thinking about getting a sound bar but decided to get another receiver because it sounds so much better. This is an upgrade to the older model I had and it has several improvements and sounds great.

Needed to replace older receiver. This receiver was the same price as a sound bar and still use our existing speakers.

not quite what i expected but its ok it did not work through the rca cables the way I wanted it too I still had to buy more adapters. other than that its a nice looking and well built piece of equipment. Its has a lot of nice features that come with it.

This is the best sounding surround sound ihave had. This thing puts bose to shame. Love it

Solves my need of a receiver to take cable and play it in surround sound. There has been some intermittent signal disruption on the HDMI inputs

It get confusing at times when you touch a button and things change and you can't get it back easily. The instructions are not all inclusive and as good as they sshould.

This a great receiver, need to be careful how is setup, but after trying different configurations finally I have a sound as you are live.

Good price for a feature rich receiver. Still playing with it, but it sounds nice and exceeds my expectations. As other reviewers have said, it is not a ll modern and sleek, but it does look impressive.

Upgraded from an older denon unit. Much clearer sound

Great simple 5.1 AVR! Nothing too fancy, but does what does well; plays music and movies loudly! Bought as a gift for my older parents, along with some high-sensitivity speakers, and we can't be happier.

great unit! perfect for my surround sound system. love that it has legacy AV inputs.

First new receiver in about 40 years... upgrading from "old school" gear to this is a big leap for us older folks, and happy to do so. Geek Squad has been wonderful in helping us figure out the connections and making everything work.

I've owned multiple Yamaha receivers over the years and have been very satisfied with the technology and also the looks. I wanted this receiver specifically for the Bluetooth capability. Works perfectly.

I was worried about switching brands after my old receiver stopped working but this one was an exceptional surprise and actually works much better than or old one with more features!

Bought a new a TV a few months ago and had been using an older receiver. Upgraded to this new one and wow! Really can tell a difference! Really impressed with this receiver, would absolutely recommend it.
