Although it came with instructions set up was not very easy. It took several times of fitting with the controls to make it work. Initially I had no sound out of the speakers then I had no TV or no DVD or then one or the other and then reverse so. Eventually it got to where I could play all of the functions as indicated. Not sure why it was difficult to set up but just not as easy as one, two, three.
