    I purchased this A/V receiver because my excellent older Yamaha would not handle 4K. This is a brilliant product. Works flawlessly with my Apple TV and Harmony hub. CEC works like a charm with my Sony 65". Highly recommended

    I've owned a Yamaha receiver for quite a few years now. But i needed an upgrade for bluetooth capability. Yamaha hasn't let me down yet. Now gotta figure out what to do with the old one!!!

    The only downside to this purchase is the power consumption/options. It doesn’t go into a standby mode and manually turning technology off and on in 2021 is a bit ridiculous. My $50 Bluetooth speaker shuts itself off so why doesn’t a $300 receiver?

    One issue I have with current trends is that manufacturers want you to purchase only their products, so total system integration is difficult if you don't. This means in order to use all functions on all of your units you need multiple remote controls at your fingertips. Otherwise it is a good receiver.
