very good does everything I need it to do. replaced a unit from the 90's

This unit is what I was looking for,and has a lot of nice features.

Best 5.1surround for very little money! Has all the bells & wistles as the more expensive ones picture quality is great!

I really like this system. This is actually my second - sadly the first one had a drink spilled on it and despite much troubleshooting, I could not revive it.

Purchased to replace another brands that DIED AND WAS NOT HONORED WARRANTY.. I have several Yamaha in house already.. this product does a great job.. takes some getting to know the Yamaha setups, but much better than some others

It doesn't seem this unit is able to just stay on the last settings used. I'm not sure what it's doing but every time I turn it on I have to change it to get both picture an audio. I can get sound with an HDMI but then also connected the fiber optic audio out from my TV as well and I still always have to change settings to get it working each time I turn it on.

It is a great product and easy to use. I would recommend.

Good product exactly what I was looking for at a good price

The video quality and ease of use of this reciever made it worth trying. I actually ended up returning this unit because after sitting with it the sounds just sounded really flat. regardless of what changes i made or what built in wizard i ran.

Replaced a 2 channel receiver that lasted about 60 days with this one pushing B&W bookshelf speakers along with a center channel speaker in my woodshop. So far so good!

Good information, great sales person- but impossible to talk to anyone who could answer simple questions. Made appt on unuser friendly website with Geek squad, he wouldn’t help me. He didn’t know or was willing to respond to simple questions. Went back to sales desk and finally got some help.

Got this receiver to drive 5 speakers and a sub. Does great for my needs. I am using Micca speakers and a Dayton Audio subwoofer. Really gives the movie theater experience for me.

For a entry level reciever it delivers a great sound for the price.

Great for the price. Doesn’t work well with my wireless adapter.

I should have upgraded a long time ago such an improvement

I read reviews before purchasing and was very happy with my receiver. Most reviews were positive and I agree. Yamaha is a good buy.

I wish it was a smart receiver. Good for the money spent.

Replaced an old Denon from 2004 and this is perfect. Sounds amazing and has all the latest tech. No issues at all.

Bought this unit to replace my trusted RX-V473. It served my well for many years. I've had this one a few weeks now and it just seem a little buggy. An example: just on HDMI is going into this unit from my TV, on my TV is a Fire Stick, I'll be on the Youtube app and all seems to be playing fine, then I use the Fire Stick remote to do a voice search, audio will annouce, "Getting that from Youtube" then when the video plays no sound. I have to power of the Yamaha and play sound through TV only. Ugh! I miss you RX-V473.
