Home Theater Receiver for the layperson

It is not as easy to set up as I would like but do appreciate the print instructions. We have yet to get our third and fourth speakers functioning.

Not so user friendly
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this receiver to replace and old Denon that was going out. Picture and sound are nice. Great audio settings to tailor it to your sound liking. However, setting this up is a pain connecting it to your tv / hdmi. By using the setup button and selecting Hdmi for hdmi control “on”, picture and sound works for a few seconds and then sound goes back to audio 1 broadcast with no sound. Setting hdmi control off, the unit stays on but won’t shut off with the cable remote, even after programming it to read the receiver. It’s not the most user-friendly to set up.

Wanted to love it
