good sound, but could not get it to operate through the ARC of my TV

Slight improvement over TV speakers at the expense of dialogue. Returned it. Yamaha 109/209 are better with the addition of Tweeter and seperate sub (209). But, really these are all at a disadvantage vs three way with speaker dedicated to dialogue.

Very nice affordable soundbar with great voice recognition technology. Recommend

Needed a sound bar to focus sound forward. Size and simplicity were main features in decision making. Didn’t need a separate woofer speaker unit. All in one soundbar was what I was looking for to purchase. Price point was good

Works well for the price. A little difficult to operate at first. Be sure to use the operation manual.

Perfect addition to our home entertainment system.

Needed a bit more sound projection for people who are a little hard of hearing. This did the trick.

Amazing sound when it works, but it always has connection issues. Tried multiple HDMI cables, but it never detects at times. Have to do a hard reset for a few minutes, then it'll work. It's extremely frustrating, especially for almost $200. I'm glad it's not drilled into the wall because otherwise I wouldn’t be able to hard reset it so it can work again. I would not purchase it again, and it's making me reconsider Yamaha for future purchases. I should've gone with the Bose that I originally wanted to purchase.

Can't get it to work with my Samsung TV, Model UN60H7150AF. The volume function works (when I use my firestick remote to change volume, it changes volume on the sound bar) but I haven't been able to get any sound from the sound bar. Figured the random HDMI cable I was using didn't support ARC, so I bought a new cable. That didn't fix the problem. Read online where someone had a similar issue, they took the sound bar back to the store and it worked fine on other TVs (Sony, Vizio...) but had problems with Samsung TVs. I'm sure it will work if I use the optical cable, but I shouldn't have to do that. I made sure to use the HDMI input on the TV labeled "ARC", and I went through all the TV sounds settings. Turned everything off an on again multiple times.

Meets expectations. I don’t hear a huge difference in quality but my partner does.
