I needed something for a secondary TV viewing room that gave the TV just a bit more sound than the TV itself. This is definitely not a home theater replacement, however for what I need it to do, which is provide rich, room filling sound for a smaller room, it’s perfect. Setup was easy, I was up and running right away. I think it took longer to get it out of the packaging than it did to set up. I’m using this TV with DirecTV, Apple TV and a Blu Ray player and the sound is consistent across all three.

Works great with the limited space I have to work with. Best when an HDMI/ arc cable is used. Balanced sound with the built in subwoofer.

Synced up well with our TVs- A full sounding spundbar here folks; I highly recommend it. We now have two of them in our house.

Yamaha produces some of the best sound bars in the industry. This little unit looks good both in front of a PC screen and a 55" 4k TV. With a built-in subwoofer, it has some serious sound in any setup. Don't get me wrong, you're not going to feel deep thunderous bass like you would get from a separate sub, not even close. This does a great job of producing crisp voice tones, and very well rounded mid-range bass. It's no surprise from Yamaha how well this speaker performs. Just wish it came with the ability to connect a real sub. It comes with a remote or you can get the app to control the same features. It's a good back up in case you lose the remote among the bunch you've already collected. It also comes with an optical cable and set up guide. But you really just need an HDMI plugged into your ARC port and the speaker turns on and off with the TV. There are a few presets on the remote, including a clear voice setting and Bass Ext. So if you're looking for a relatively cheap sound bar that has it all, the SR-C20A is a really good pick.

This has been a great addition to our living room TV. It has improved the sound quality immensely.

We got a 65" Samsung television with the Yamaha speaker attachment. It was installed by the best Buy Geek Squad. The system is outstanding and the installer did an outstanding job.

Overall, an excellent addition to my TV watching. The only comment is that the volume of the unit is less than I anticipated .

I don’t have a very new or fancy tv but the sounds from my tv speakers is not different form the sound bar. It’s the same DTS. I did the test so many times because I figured for $150 it must be better than my internal speakers, but unfortunately there’s no sound improvement so I will have to return it. I still want to improve my sound but not sure what to try next instead.

The treble on this is nice but the bass is not deep enough.

My dad bought two of these one for my grandma and one for the living room. Both stopped working in little less than two weeks. Do not recommend
