This was the best purchase I made and a good investment to protect my purchase. 5 star.

The salesperson who assisted me with the purchase of a new laptop told that if I bought the $50 membership that there was a "sale" going to be announced within the next week and that I'd get a $100 price reduction. Ergo, l spend $50 to get $100. Stupid me - I believed him. No sale and I'm out 50 bucks. He did tell me that if the "sale" did not happen that I could get my $50 back. Wrong! Now I have a $50 store credit. Unfortunately, for me, I do not need to buy anything, so I'm stuck with a $50 credit I can use. BAD DEAL! Ergo, only 1 star. Wish I could have rated my "membership" zero stars.

The membership is of no value to me. I was recommended to purchase a Dell laptop, Microsoft Office, some accessories, and the membership. The membership was supposed to save me $25 on the transaction. The membership cost me $50, hence I spent more, not less. The recommended laptop has had nothing except issues. I brought the laptop into the store to perhaps exchange it or get a different higher-end model. I was informed I could not. That was the only real value, and yet from what I was informed, I could not? I found that odd, as it was one of the main deciding factors in the purchase and I asked multiple times. Regardless, I was well within the return window anyways? I actually wanted to purchase a laptop that cost more? Other than that, the Sirius 6 Month is only for the App. Either make it the full use or not. What benefit is there in only getting some of the use of a benefit? Frankly, it is not "free." I paid for? It came with my purchase. App only was not disclosed. Simply put, had I been fully informed, I likely would have taken a different course of action. Thus, my experience has not been a decent one unfortunately.

It’s fine. I only bought the membership because there happen to a $50 discount on what I was going to buy that day so the membership was basically free. The longer return window is a nice perk but not a game changer. Seems like most items that that are offered as a “exclusive member discount” goes on sale in some capacity around the same time so they aren’t really “exclusive” offers. Best Buy needs to beef up the value they really want to make this a value to customers.
