when signing up for my best buy card i was told no fees i recently got an email stating that an annual fee will be charged. i feel deceived from the sales person not giving me accurate info.

I purchased this membership in order to receive $200 off of a Marantz Cinema 70s receiver. That purchase was on November 20th with the receiver scheduled to arrive on November 22nd. I was very excited as it was the centerpiece to a new home theater system! On the 22nd I received a delay email instead of my receiver. That’s ok stories things happen. After another few days or so I contacted customer service through chat and told it was coming soon due to a carrier delay, much sinner than the December 5th the email stated. I wanted to cancel the order and my membership at that time but they said they were unable since a tracking number had been generated. Almost a week after December 5th the receiver had still not been delivered. The delay email stated I’d be refunded if that happened. No refund and no progress. The item had not been picked up by the carrier. I contacted customer service again and it was submitted for a refund. That’s been over a week ago and still no refund. I was still unable to get a refund on my membership either as it’s dependent on the refund for the original item as “benefits had been used”. The chat supervisor was unable to escalate any further. I’ve since had to but from another retailer to enjoy my system. Best Buy has been holding over $1000 hostage for over a month. I’m close to submitting a chrge back on my credit card. The BB Henderson has bought me no extra customer service whatsoever. I don’t feel called as a customer at all. Completely not worth it. Do not buy!!

Best Buy offers fewer and fewer items and services that I want and membership sales aren't very impressive.

I don’t use this enough. Membership price was higher when I looked at receipt than the sales person quoted saying it was a special discount. So much for that.

You don't get deals on everything I learned. Bought expensive cameras and items for it. No discount. I don't go to best buy enough for this membership to be worth it. Especially, since not everything work with it.

Just a great piece of mind know if thing go wrong i got something to fall back on
