They said the membership was free and I would get a discount on the product purchased. I was in a rush and said yes, and entered my information. He said he needed my card and I thought I was paying for my purchase. He told me to enter my payment again and hit confirm. I did. I walked out confused. I went home and googled some information and tried to login into my account. It wouldn’t work with the member ID I was given. I then realized I received the discount on the product becuase it was part of a promotion if you signed up for the Best Buy membership….so basically it evened out. Kicker is, my card information is now on file and I don’t want it. I want to cancel. I can’t find anyone who can tell me how to remove my card information and cancel my membership. I do not want to be charged for this again. It’s worthless. Train your people better. He conned me and is a piece of you know what. And yes, I want to be contacted.

I bought two Yale smart locks from Bestbuy and the membership in October 2024 and set up an appointment for lock installation on 10/31. Bestbuy rescheduled my appointment without notifying me. I waited for two hours at home and no one showed up. I called customer service and was told the appointment was rescheduled to November 6, which didn’t work for me as I would be traveling. Bestbuy was not able to schedule any time before 11/6. I had to used a local emergency locksmith to have the locked installed which cost $100 more than Bestbuy’s offer. After I cancelled my membership after two weeks of enrollment, i didn’t get any refund either. I didn’t get any better services as a member!

No notification of a TV price reduction

We checked the prices last week and discovered that the TV was priced $200 less than we paid. But we had not received the promised notification even though the 2 items were in our cart, as we had been instructed. We went to the store and got the price adjustment, but Best Buy's failure to notify us was very disappointing.
