Misleading membership rules

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was told by two sales reps that if I became a Best Buy Plus customer, I would be able to apply the $75 credit for an additional purchase simultaneously. I bought a computer, then the next day, I bought a range. I was told it would take a couple of weeks for the credit to appear on my account, but since it was in the 60 day time frame, I would then be able to apply the credit to the range purchase. It was not the case. I was told by the call center that it applied to purchase ONCE I received the credit. False advertising or poor training of staff.

Due to lower prices in other stores, I planned to do a price match, but the store manager refused to give me the membership discounts, saying it was double dipping. So, I decided to cancel the membership.

Not only did we not get help (the person didn't check the battery, and after waiting an hour, he then said he had to start all over again), but we had to buy something we don't need.

At day 62 was told I missed their price drop guarantee by 2 days. Shame on me for not reading the fine print. Shame on them for misleading me. What should have been a good loyalty program had the opposite effect.
