I was forced by the store manager to purchase a membership in order to receive an item that had been mistakenly delivered to the wrong address. To make matters worse, customer service never informed me that I could request a refund for this forced membership. Since that incident, I have chosen not to spend a single penny at Best Buy—and I have no intention of returning as a customer. This kind of treatment is unacceptable and has completely undermined my trust in your company.

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was told by two sales reps that if I became a Best Buy Plus customer, I would be able to apply the $75 credit for an additional purchase simultaneously. I bought a computer, then the next day, I bought a range. I was told it would take a couple of weeks for the credit to appear on my account, but since it was in the 60 day time frame, I would then be able to apply the credit to the range purchase. It was not the case. I was told by the call center that it applied to purchase ONCE I received the credit. False advertising or poor training of staff.
