My motivation to shop at Best Buy is going away between the low stock in stores and the lack of rewards credits based on volume of shopping. I used to be ok paying a few dollars more to build up my rewards. Now the shorter return windows make me take business elsewhere.

I do imagine with how good of a deal that was it couldn’t be maintained, and I do appreciate using it while I had the chance, but the silent removal of that deal has kinda ruined a bit of my goodwill, but only particularly because that’s the main thing I used my best buy plus for.

That was a joke, if not a scam. I couldn't figure out how to sign up. The Best Buy Help Center was totally incapable of helping me (and seemed clueless about the whole process). The link for accessing the trial offer on my receipt actually led to something totally irrelevant (Apple Music).
