I think its fine so far. One issue was that I purchased a refurbished laptop for my son and the Best Buy representative that was helping me said you should also get the My Best Buy Plus so that if there are any issue with it, you will have 60 days to return it. This made good sense so I purchased the membership approximately 10 minutes after I paid for the laptop (this was all done online). The rep on the phone said it should be fine because it was only a few minutes between purchases so I finalized the purchases and scheduled to pickup the laptop at a local store that same day. I picked up the laptop in person and the rep at the counter also said there should not be any issues with applying the My Best Buy Plus to the laptop I had purchased since it was only a few minutes apart. Fast forward and I am looking at my purchases and the laptop was only covered for a couple of weeks. I messaged with other Best Buy reps and they could not do anything about it but suggested I exchange and repurchase the laptop so that its covered. I said "Ok" but ended up getting called out of town and was not able to make that happen. I think there should be a little buffer room within the purchase timeframe (maybe like an hour so nothing unreasonable because I know folks like to take advantage of these things) for one to purchase a product and then be able to also have it covered by a My Best Buy Plus purchased say within an hour. Especially on refurbished items. Anyway, just a suggestion. Otherwise, everyone was really polite so no complaints there.

I originally signed up for My Best Buy Plus because I was buying a gaming laptop that cost a little over $2,000 and wanted the extra return window just in case. Honestly, that benefit alone ended up making the membership completely worth the price for me. Normally, I feel like 14-15 days isn’t enough time to truly judge an expensive laptop, especially a gaming one. The first week everything usually seems great. It’s only after actually living with it for a month or more that you start noticing the annoying stuff. In my case, the laptop looked amazing on paper and performed great at first, but after extended use I realized it got way too hot during gaming sessions and the battery life was honestly terrible for daily use. Those are the kinds of things you don’t fully realize from a quick test period or watching YouTube reviews. Because of the extended return window with Plus, I had about a month and a half to really use the laptop as my main machine before deciding whether to keep it. That extra time made a huge difference and saved me from being stuck with a very expensive purchase I wasn’t fully happy with. Returning it was straightforward and I ended up going with a different model that fit my needs better. The free 2-day shipping has also been nice for random smaller purchases throughout the year. I’ve ordered cables, PC parts, and accessories and getting them quickly without needing to hit a minimum order amount is convenient. The member pricing can sometimes actually save a decent amount too, especially on bigger electronics. I’ve already seen discounts that basically covered the cost of the membership. I will say whether this is worth it probably depends on how often you shop at Best Buy. If you only buy one cheap item a year, probably not necessary. But if you buy expensive electronics, computers, TVs, gaming stuff, or tend to upgrade tech often, I can absolutely see the value. For me though, the extended return period is the real reason to get this. Being able to properly test a major purchase over several weeks instead of rushing to decide within two weeks gave me a lot more confidence buying expensive tech from Best Buy. That alone made the membership pay for itself.

I am very satisfied for the day when I tour Bestbuy store because my home’s refrigerator has to be replaced for a decade. I just wanted to see but I finally bought one from the store when I met sales guy who gave me a help for choosing one. Shipping was in almost one month later caused I travelled on the second day of the purchased day. Delivery was on 3/24 when I come back from the travel. Everything was so smoothly in delivery and a good refrigerator was moved into my house in the morning per a scheduled time. Not only a delivery but they installed it with water pipe and fixed everything after testing well. Thank you Bestbuy Store with my honest appreciation.

At the previous price point, it was harder to justify unless you shopped at Best Buy very frequently, but the lower cost makes the benefits much easier to take advantage of without feeling like you need to constantly use it to break even. One of the biggest benefits for me has been the extended return window and added protection perks on purchases. Having extra coverage and more flexibility with returns gives a lot more peace of mind when buying electronics, accessories, or higher-priced items. Member-exclusive pricing and occasional discounts have also helped offset the membership cost pretty quickly. Overall, if you buy tech, games, appliances, or accessories from Best Buy even a few times a year, the updated pricing makes this membership a solid value now compared to before.

We purchased the Best Buy Plus Membership in March 2026 as recommended by several sales associates at our local Best Buy, especially due to all the many recent purchases we made I. march 2026! We did have issues 3 separate times trying to purchase it in the store, so we purchased via the Best Buy App instead. We have already saved $350.00 in price matches on our new 65” Roku Pro Series TV alone. PLUS, a $50.00 reward on top of that! The Plus Membership was $49.99 and we received the $50.00 reward for spending $499.99 or more on the TV alone! It pays for itself!! Make sure you get this membership because it definitely pays for itself and will save you money!! We highly recommend this!! If you have trouble purchasing it in store don’t get stressed or discouraged just simply purchase the membership through the Best Buy App or website! You won’t regret it, we definitely haven’t!!!

Hello, I purchased this membership off a whim. I didn’t know if I was going to use it much but decided to give it a try nonetheless. I’m incredibly pleased with the service and deals that are offered. I recently purchased An Apple Watch Ultra 2 $250 off brand new shipping to my house. There was only a $100 off deal at the time and due to having the membership an extra $150 was added which really helped the decision making. Other than that the deals are fantastic, I’m looking at getting an LG C5 Used possibly due to the deals. If you are planning on making a big purchase or a bunch of small purchases, do look into the BB membership. For only $50 a year you can save possibly thousands in a single year depending on your spending habits. Overall highly recommend!!

I was fairly pleased with the purchase of an ASUS laptop, but when I found a similar faster ASUS on BEST BUY's web site for just $100 more I returne the orginial laptop and attempted toooooooo upgrade my purchase. Unfortunately I was told that my new choice was only available for purchase on through the web and not at the Tyrone store. Now the laptop of my choice has been increased in price by several huncred dollars. I AM VERY UPSET THAT THE SALES ASSOCIATES AND MANAGER DID NOT, OR COULD NOT, HELP ME WITH THE CHANGE. Looks like I will go to Amazon. This was not a good outcome of my experience with Best Buy.

To date have only used for initial installation. I cannot say enough about the outstanding service the Geek Squad Techs, Mitch & Harley, provided. As someone who is very tech challenged, I was honestly nervous about the entire process—but these two guys turned what could have been an overwhelming experience into an easy, stress free, even enjoyable one. From the moment they arrived, they were friendly, patient, and incredibly professional. They took the time to walk me through each step of the setup, explaining things in a way I could actually understand. They handled the TV and soundbar with great care, ensured everything was installed correctly, and double checked that all the settings were optimized for the best picture and sound quality. Their professionalism, kindness, and expertise turned a daunting task into a smooth and positive experience.

I absolutely love this refrigerator! There is PLENTY of room, and allows milk cartons, coffee cremer cartons, apple juice bottles, etc., to be stored on two shelves in the refrigerator plus gallon sized shelves on the door. I used to have to lay them down. The outside of the refrigerator is very sleek and modern looking without the digital display lit up on the front, but is on the side of the door very much hidden but accessible. The two ice makers are fantastic. I am really pretty sure this refrigerator will last more than my last one, which was 5 years. The mechanics seem very well thought out, and reviews problems have been easily fixable... I highly recommend! Make sure there is a 36" width opening for installation as it definitely needs the space. The Geek Squad installation and delivery was awesome!

I've been partly satisfied with Best Buy The washer I purchased was delivered and set up nicely. We were very satisfied with that. However, the dryer was damaged and returned for future delivery of a replacement. At first, the report from the delivery, said the washer was damaged and the dryer was installed. After a visit to the Charleston WV Best Buy, that was corrected and the date for the 2nd delivery of the new dryer was scheduled for 2-24. On the 24th, it was reported that the dryer would be delivered by 3:30. It was not. we continually were notified that the new delivery time changed 8 times. The dryer was never delivered and no notice as to why was received. After calling the 888 number, I was informed that the dryer would be delivered March 2. The representative was helpful but because no credible explanation as to what happened was given (not her fault), I cancelled the dryer and asked to be credited for the purchase price. I did not trust the delivery would happen so I decided to cancel the dryer. When I again called the 888 number, the representative was very helpful and was able to cancel. I was told I would receive a credit within 10 days. I have had a good experience when calling the representatives but has been disappointed with the delivery company in Vermont. We have now purchased another dryer from Lowe's and expect a better experience with the delivery.

Have yet to see it give me back money and I spend a lot of money so I don’t know what the point of having it is and another thing I don’t like very much is it doesn’t like Ranch special access to like releases or anything. I feel like there should be a perk of having the card because it’s not like it does anything you don’t get a discount or anything?

It’s cool, if you can get it for $25. You get some member exclusive discounts on items, sometimes high value ones. My main reason was the extended return policy, especially if you’re doing a PC build. It’s great knowing you have 60 days instead of 15, gives you time to get all your parts and confirm everything works. I was able to buy majority of my parts through Best Buy and have the safety net of the extended return instead of like Amazon which has 30. Best Buy also price matched some of my items (not a perk, they’ll price match regardless of membership) and I didn’t lose out on better deals elsewhere, overall a great experience.
