I was convinced of this membership by one of the employees at my local Best Buy who was very kind.

The discount I got when buying my laptop was big enough to pay for the membership itself. The solid member discounts and perks like free shipping and trials to premium platforms make it totally worth it if you spend $500 or more a year at Best Buy
