I wasn't sure about getting this option. Thought it would just be extra money, and unwise spent money, but now glad I made the investment.

I used to be able to get my money's worth, but this past year fell a bit short. Not sure if my habits changed or if there are fewer offers. Worth it if you're buying big ticket items and it pays for itself.

As a long time customer of Best Buy I recently made a couple of new purchases. During that transaction I was informed of the Best Buy Plus Membership. Since I always have a great experience when shopping BB, I went ahead and joined. Membership includes: as free 2-day shipping on most items, exclusive member-only pricing on thousands of products, early access to sales and events, and an extended 60-day return window. The membership includes unlimited remote computer tune-ups with Geek Squad tech support. So what's not to like?

Best Buy rep encouraged me to buy this as it was essentially free since I got a $50 credit for signing up. Now, my TV just went on sale after I got it and thus I just got an additional $100 back.

Great feature allows for extended returns if you are unsure about a product

I’ve been using the My Best Buy membership for a while now and overall I’d say it’s really worth it — especially if you shop at Best Buy frequently. The program has three tiers (free, Plus, and Total), so you can pick the level that actually fits your needs and budget.

We bought the membership with a washer and dryer purchase. After a two week delay in delivery, only the dryer was delivered on the scheduled date. No call. No communication from anyone. We declined it. We sold our units and were forced to shop elsewhere to buy what we had ordered from BB. Additionally we were told, the day of attempted delivery, that those units were on back order was statewide. Not one washer like the one we picked anywhere. Lowe’s had 26 available. They delivered the next day. Just a lot of sales techniques, that worked, without any concern for follow through once the bill was paid. Management was helpful in making the return and apologized. However, the chaos was unnecessary. Just be honest about your supply and inability to deliver before the scheduled delivery date. Customers like us handle honest communication much better than deceit- intended or not.

I was interested in purchasing a laptop to replace the previous laptop that I purchased from Best Buy. Both experiences were exceptional. In these days when people do not have a clue how to treat a customer, Best Buy did a wonderful job. They acknowledged me as a customer, asked if I need help and allowed me time to make a decision.

In the initial purchase of a 65" TV I saved enough to cover the delivery and install!
